AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

Blue Jays: Jordan Groshans, SS/3B (No. 5) -- 0-for-2, R, 2 BB, SB (Class A Lansing)
Groshans was held hitless but still had a solid game, reaching base twice, scoring a run and swiping his first bag of the season in the Lugnuts' loss against Bowling Green. After an eye-opening pro debut (.296/.353/.446) last summer across two levels, the 2018 first-rounder (No. 12 overall) has produced a .358/.434/.537 line in 17 games to begin his first full season.

Orioles: Rylan Bannon, 2B/3B (No. 23) -- 2-for-3, HR (3), 2B, 2 R (Double-A Bowie)
Bannon's solo shot in the first inning put Bowie on the board. He later added a double to record two hits for a second straight night. A .204/.344/.327 hitter with two home runs in 32 games for the Baysox last summer after being acquired from the Dodgers in the Manny Machado trade, the 23-year-old is faring better this season in his return to the Eastern League, hitting .303/.391/.526 over his first 22 games.

Rays: Moises Gomez, OF (No. 13) -- 2-for-4, 2B, RBI, R, BB (Class A Adv Charlotte)
Gomez collected two of his team's eight hits, including his first double of the season, in Charlotte's victory over Lakeland. The 20-year-old broke out of a 2-for-22 skid with the multihit performance, his fourth in 19 games.

Red Sox: Tanner Houck, RHP (No. 6) -- 6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K (Double-A Portland)
Houck, Boston’s first-round pick from the 2017 Draft, posted his second straight scoreless start as he earned the win for the Sea Dogs in the nightcap of a doubleheader. After a rocky season debut (4 IP, 11 H, 7 ER), the 22-year-old righty has given up one earned run over 16 innings in his past three starts, winning all three.

Yankees: Domingo Acevedo, RHP (No. 23) -- 2 1/3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K (Double-A Trenton)
Acevedo, 22, turned in his longest outing this season for the Thunder en route to his third win in seven appearances. Working exclusively in relief this season, the 6-foot-7, 250-pound righty owns a 1.46 ERA and 0.65 WHIP with 13 strikeouts in 12 1/3 innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL

Indians: Nolan Jones, 3B (No. 2, MLB No. 63) -- 1-for-4, 2B, RBI, R (Class A Adv Lynchburg)
Jones is hitting .400 over his last 10 games after he doubled and plated a run with a sacrifice fly on Saturday as part of a 1-for-4 performance. He's off to a strong start in 2019 overall, sporting a .320/.441/.373 line through 21 games in the Carolina League.

Royals: Daniel Lynch, LHP (No. 4) -- 5 2/3 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 5 K (Class A Adv Wilmington)
Lynch, the No. 34 overall pick in last year's Draft, picked up his first win of the season in his fifth start for the Blue Rocks. The 6-foot-6 southpaw struggled with his control early in the season but has started to find his groove in his last two starts, allowing a total of three runs in 11 2/3 innings with 11 strikeouts and two walks.

Tigers: Tarik Skubal, LHP (No. 20) -- 5 2/3 IP, 4 H, 3 R (1 ER), 2 BB, 9 K (Class A Adv Lakeland)
The 6-foot-3 left-hander didn’t allow a run over the first five innings before giving up an RBI double in the sixth. An infield error led to a pair of unearned runs in the frame, the second of which scored after Skubal had departed the game. He still recorded multiple strikeouts in three different frames to finish with nine, one off his career-high total. The 2018 ninth-rounder sports a 3.09 ERA with 31 strikeouts and five walks in 23 1/3 innings (five starts) on the season.

Twins: Ben Rortvedt, C (No. 24) -- 1-for-3, HR (2), 3 RBI, 2 R, BB (Class A Adv Fort Myers)
Rortvedt had three hits in his last 23 at-bats before his three-run shot for the Miracle on Saturday. It was the second homer of the season for the 21-year-old catcher, who hit a career-high five bombs in 90 games a year ago. Behind the plate, Rortvedt has thrown out 7 of 10 attempted basestealers.

White Sox: Nick Madrigal, 2B (No. 5, MLB No. 44) -- 2-for-4, 2 RBI, BB, SB (Class A Adv Winston-Salem)
The multihit performance was the fifth in 19 games for the 2018 Draft's No. 4 overall pick, who reached base three times and drove home a pair of runs in the contest. He's hitting .278/.369/.347 on the season, with six steals, 17 RBIs and more walks (8) than strikeouts (3).

AMERICAN LEAGUE WEST

A’s: Lazaro Armenteros, OF (No. 4) -- 2-for-3, HR (4), 2B, 2 RBI, 3 R, 2 BB (Class A Adv Stockton)
Lazarito did it all for the Ports, hitting a first-inning home run and later adding a double. Armenteros reached base four times and scored a team-high three runs. Hitting .353 with three homers over his last 10 games, the 19-year-old outfielder is showing signs of heating up.

Angels: Leonardo Rivas, SS (No. 27) -- 2-for-3, solo HR (2), 2 R, 2 BB, SB (Class A Adv Inland Empire)
Rivas, 21, was a catalyst out of the leadoff spot, hitting a home run and reaching base four times to help the 66ers past Lake Elsinore, 6-2. A year ago, the switch-hitting shortstop hit .234 with five homers and 16 steals in 121 games in the Class A Midwest League.

Astros: Yordan Alvarez, OF (No. 3, MLB No. 41) -- 4-for-5, HR (11), 2 2B, 3 RBI, 4 R (Triple-A Round Rock)
Alvarez turned in another monster offensive performance, recording a season-high four hits including his Minor League-leading 11th home run -- a go-ahead, two-run blast in the seventh inning -- and a pair of doubles. Alvarez has had 17 of his 26 hits go for extra bases this season, and he's now hitting an obscene .361/.459/.903 with 20 RBIs in 20 Triple-A contests.

Mariners: Jarred Kelenic, OF (No. 2, MLB No. 53) -- 2-for-4, 2 HR (4), 3 RBI (Class A West Virginia)
For the second straight day Kelenic extended his hitting streak with a home run -- and then he went deep again to record the first multihomer game of his career. The 2018 No. 6 overall Draft pick, whom Seattle acquired from the Mets in the offseason Edwin Diaz-Robinson Cano blockbuster, has seven multihit efforts during his 14-game streak, during which he’s boosted his average from .080 to .329.

Rangers: Leody Taveras, OF (No. 6) -- 2-for-4 (Class A Adv Down East)
Taveras has hit safely in 19 of 22 games this season while compiling a .314/.385/.419 line. The 20-year-old outfielder is back in the Carolina League this season after hitting .246/.312/.332 with 28 extra-base hits and 19 steals in 132 games for the Wood Ducks in 2018.

Braves: Austin Riley, 3B (No. 5, MLB No. 35) -- 2-for-5, HR (5), 2B, 3 RBI (Triple-A Gwinnett)
Riley has now gone deep in three straight games after hitting a three-run blast off of Beau Burrows (Tigers’ No. 6) in the third inning of Gwinnett’s 16-3 rout of Toledo. The 22-year-old also doubled in the contest, giving him four multihit efforts and nine RBIs in his past five games.

Marlins: Robert Dugger, RHP (No. 22) -- 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K (Double-A Jacksonville)
The 23-year-old right-hander retired the last 11 batters he faced en route to seven scoreless innings and record his first victory of 2019. Throwing 58 of his 86 pitches for strikes, Dugger permitted just two hits (both singles) while notching seven strikeouts and groundouts apiece. He pitched to a 3.40 ERA with 107/36 K/BB in 109 1/3 innings (25 starts) for the Jumbo Shrimp in 2018.

Mets: Anthony Kay, LHP (No. 8) -- 5 1/3 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 1 HBP, 7 K (Double-A Binghamton)
Kay pitched well but took a tough-luck loss as the Rumble Ponies fell to Portland, 1-0, in the nightcap of a doubleheader. The 24-year-old lefty continues to be held to a strict pitch-count limit, as Saturday's outing was his third straight throwing exactly 90 pitches (56 strikes). He's still been highly effective, registering a 1.85 ERA with 29 strikeouts and a .157 BAA in 24 1/3 innings (five starts).

Phillies: Alec Bohm, 3B (No. 1, MLB No. 56) -- 1-for-4, HR (3), 2 RBI; Dominic Pipkin, RHP (No. 23) -- 4 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 4 K (Class A Lakewood)
Bohm’s two-run homer to left-center field in the eighth inning gave the BlueClaws some breathing room in their 4-1 win against Hickory. The 2018 No. 3 overall Draft pick has been a Roundup staple so far this season, hitting .367/.441/.595 in 22 games. Pipkin, 19, tossed the final four frames without allowing a hit as he picked up his first win of the season. He struck out four and recorded five groundouts while throwing 50 pitches (30 strikes).

Nationals: Tim Cate, LHP (No. 5) -- 6 IP, 3 H, 3 R (2 ER), 3 BB, 8 K (Class A Hagerstown)
Cate and his plus-plus curveball once again proved difficult to hit, as the 2018 second-rounder racked up a career-high eight strikeouts while completing six innings for a third straight start. After he left the game, the Suns' bullpen was tagged for 10 runs across the final three frames. With a 1.65 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 31 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings (five starts) so far this season, the 21-year-old lefty is a candidate for an early-season promotion.

NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL

Brewers: Payton Henry, C (No. 10) -- 3-for-4, 2 HR (5), 5 RBI, 3 R (Class A Adv Carolina)
Henry connected on a pair of opposite-field home runs, hitting a first-inning solo shot followed by a three-run blast in the fifth inning in Carolina’s 13-6 win over Potomac. Also plating a run with a single in the contest, he matched his career high with five RBIs. The 21-year-old backstop is off to a strong start in 2019, slashing .276/.330/.494 with five homers through 23 games. He’s tied atop the Carolina League leaderboard with 21 RBIs.

Cubs: Thomas Hatch, RHP (No. 17) -- 6 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 0 BB, 1 HBP, 5 K (Double-A Tennessee)
Hatch has allowed three or fewer earned runs in four of his five starts for the Smokies, and his current 5.18 ERA would be much lower had he not given up nine earned runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 frames back on April 16. Beyond that, the 24-year-old right-hander owns a 0.95 WHIP with 26/6 K/BB in 24 1/3 innings this season.

Cardinals: Luken Baker, 1B (No. 22) -- 1-for-2, RBI, R, 2 BB (Class A Adv Palm Beach)
A night after connecting on his first home run of the season, Baker doubled, plated a run via a bases-loaded walk and reached base three times in Palm Beach's loss against Fort Myers. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound first baseman is hitting .273/.448/.394 with 20 strikeouts and walks apiece 21 games into his first full season.

Pirates: Mitch Keller, RHP (No. 1, MLB No. 18) -- 5 IP, 8 H, 4 R, 1 BB, 10 K (Triple-A Indianapolis)
Keller absolutely dominated for the first three innings, striking out eight of the nine batters he faced, then lost his effectiveness in the fourth and fifth, allowing four runs on eight hits in that span. He still racked up a season-best 10 strikeouts and issued only one walk while throwing 64 of 96 pitches for strikes.

Reds: Ibandel Isabel, 1B (No. 25) -- 2-for-4, 2 HR (7), 3 RBI (Double-A Chattanooga)
Isabel powered the Lookouts past Biloxi, 6-4, with his first multihomer game of the season and the ninth of his career. The 23-year-old slugger accomplished the feat six times last season, when he went deep 36 times to finish in a tie with Pete Alonso for the Minor League lead.

D-backs: Jazz Chisholm, SS (No. 1, MLB No. 57) -- 2-for-4, HR (5), 2B, 2 RBI (Double-A Jackson)
The 21-year-old shortstop belted an eighth-inning solo shot over the wall in right-center field as he pushed his season total to five home runs. Eight of Jazz's 10 hits have gone for extra bases so far in his first Double-A campaign, but he's hit .147 with 29 strikeouts in 18 games overall.

Peters hit a three-run homer in the first inning and plated runs with a single and a sacrifice fly to finish with a season-high five RBIs. The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder led all Double-A hitters with 26 home runs last season and is starting to heat up at the plate, having hit safely in eight of his last nine contests.

It was the first multihomer performance in 499 professional games for the 21-year-old, who's now gone deep three times and tallied nine hits in five games since being demoted to Triple-A from the big leagues.

Rockies: Brendan Rodgers, INF (No. 1, MLB No. 9) -- Game 1: 2-for-4, HR, 2 R; Game 2: 3-for-4, HR (5), 2B, RBI, 4 R, BB (Triple-A Albuquerque)
Rodgers was an offensive force on Saturday as he went 5-for-8 with six runs and a solo home run in both ends of Albuquerque's doubleheader sweep of Salt Lake. The 22-year-old has been on fire lately, hitting .464 (13-for-28) with eight extra-base hits in his last seven games.
