Individual Registration Fee:

Pre-registration through Friday, November 1: $200 per person

Beginning Saturday, November 2 through Thursday, November 14: $225 per person (based upon availability)

*If the event reaches maximum capacity, we will accept an additional twenty (20) participants who will be placed on a “waitlist”. Event registration fee is $250 with a portion of that fee returned to any player who does not receive a seat in the tournament prior to the first scheduled tournament break.

  • $2,000 in chips
  • Buffet dinner and two (2) drink tickets
  • Reds branded gift bag

Full Table Registration Fee: $2,000

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Sorry, no exceptions. This means once we receive your registration, you are unable to receive a refund if you cannot participate. This No Refunds Policy applies even if the Event is cancelled for any reason. If this occurs, your registration fee will be considered a tax-deductible donation to the Reds Community Fund to be utilized for one of their many outreach initiatives.

Where is the Tournament?

The event will be held at Great American Ball Park (100 Joe Nuxhall Way Cincinnati, OH 45202) and hosted in the Bally Sports Club

What time should I be there?

Event registration & side games open at 1:00 pm

Tournament is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm sharp

Can anyone participate?

Players must be 21 years or older to participate in the tournament

How many people can participate?

Up to 300 people, (maximum of 10 players/table)

How many at each table?

Maximum of ten (10) players plus the dealer will be seated at each table

How much does it cost?

Tournament buy-in is $200 (through Friday, November 1st) and $225 (beginning Saturday, November 2nd). Registration includes $2,000 in tournament chips, Reds branded gift bag, buffet dinner and two (2) drink tickets.

What will I need to check-in?

Government-issued IDs are required at check-in prior to the tournament. Additionally, you will need to present your event registration receipt that was emailed to you following registration at the ballpark gates to gain entry into the event.

What if the event is sold-out?

Once the event is officially sold-out, a wait list will commence. The wait list is open to the first twenty (20) participants who register on a first come, first served basis. Tournament entry fee of $250 is due upfront with a portion of the entry fee refunded for any participant who does not make it into the tournament prior to the dinner break. All event participants will receive access to the ballpark, Reds branded gift bag, a buffet dinner and two (2) drink tickets.

Are there Re-Buys?

Yes, there will be unlimited re-buys of $50 each ($2,000 in chips) for the first two (2) hours of the event. A player is only able to purchase a maximum of three (3) re-buys at one time when he/she has no more than $2,000 in chips remaining in the game or prior to the next hand being played immediately after a player has been busted out. Players must have chips/ be active in the game in order to purchase a re-buy. Cash or credit card are acceptable forms of payment.

Is there an Add-On?

Yes, one (1) for $50 ($5,000 in chips) after the first scheduled break at two (2) hours. Every active player is eligible to purchase an add-on at the conclusion of the break. In order to be considered an “active player”, you must have at least one chip left in the tournament. Cash or credit are the only acceptable forms of payment.

What are the event prizes?

The top twenty-seven (27) players will receive a Reds item signed by one of the members of the big-league team during the 2024 season. Additionally, based on their order of finishing, the top twenty-seven (27) players will receive Reds related prizes and/or game experiences for the 2025 Reds season.

Can I watch and not play?

Unfortunately, no spectators will be permitted to attend the event in 2024. Only event participants will be permitted to enter the event.

How do I make sure I am with my friends?

Participants will be randomly placed at a table upon registering. If you would like to be paired up with a friend or family member, please contact Jake Ware at [email protected].

Are phones allowed in tournament?

All cellular phones/electronic devices are prohibited to be used inside of the tournament playing area if you are participating in the current hand. Any player using a cellular/electronic device while at the table will be required to fold his/her current hand.

What do I need to bring with me?

Other than a government issued photo ID, we will provide all the materials you will need for the event. In order to maintain the safest environment for all participants, we strongly recommend that you leave valuables at home or in your car. All persons and carry-in items are subject to search. Additionally, no firearms or other weapons of any kinds are permitted at the event, including on the property of Great American Ball Park or parking lots.

How long will the Tournament last?

The event is scheduled for roughly six (6) hours. Please note: the tournament will continue until only one person remains.

Will food & beverages be provided?

All event participants will receive two (2) drink tickets upon registration. Drink tickets are good for wine, beer and/or mixed drinks. Soft drinks and water will be available free of charge during the event. A buffet dinner will take place approximately two (2) hours into the tournament. The sale and consumption of all alcoholic beverages is subject to Ohio Law. It is unlawful for any person under twenty one (21) years of age to purchase, consume, possess or transport alcoholic beverages. The Reds and its concessionaire will implement measures to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not accessible or served to any person under 21 years of age or to person(s) who are deemed to be intoxicated. The Reds reserve the right to limit the consumption and/or sale of alcoholic beverages to any individual at their own discretion at events.

Will anything else be going on?

The Reds Community Fund may also host a “garage sale” of items for purchase while supplies last throughout the event.

Will participants receive a reminder?

All registered participants will receive an informational e-mail approximately one (1) week prior to the event that includes an updated timeline, registration specifics and other pertinent details.

Who are the dealers?

Who is the charity or beneficiary of the event?

The Reds Community Fund is the official non-profit organization of the Cincinnati Reds. Since its inception in 2001, the Community Fund has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth through its baseball and softball-themed outreach efforts.

Who can I call for game rule questions or blind structure or general questions?

Rules, including the blind structure, will be provided at check-in the day of the tournament or feel free to contact Jake Ware at [email protected] with any additional event related questions.

Will there be celebrity players participating in this year’s event?

This event will not include the presence of any current or former Reds players, coaches or celebrities participating as they have in years past.
