What is Red Sox Nation?

Red Sox Nation is the official fan club for the Boston Red Sox, bringing fans closer to the team and providing access to insider experiences and perks.

Is there a cost to join?

Yes, Membership for 2023 Red Sox Nation costs $21.95 per membership. All 2023 Red Sox Nation memberships are valid through December 31, 2023.

What are the benefits for Red Sox Nation members in 2023?

Will I receive a Red Sox Nation E-newsletter?

Yes. As a Red Sox Nation member you will receive an e-newsletter. The Red Sox Nation e-newsletter allows members to access content and special offers available for Red Sox Nation members. You must register for the e-newsletter with a valid email address and may opt out of the e-newsletter at any time. Neither the Boston Red Sox nor MLB is responsible for invalid email addresses or emails that bounce or are filtered by e-mail providers. Offers distributed via Red Sox Nation e-newsletter may also be available for viewing on the Red Sox Nation members-only section on redsoxnation.com.

Purchasing & Renewals; Refunds

How do I purchase a Red Sox Nation membership?

In order to purchase a membership to Red Sox Nation, you must complete the Red Sox Nation order form at redsoxnation.com or in person at Fenway Park. You must provide complete and accurate information, including name, address, telephone number (e.g., home, work, mobile and fax), email address, valid payment card information and shipping address. The redsox.com Privacy Policy explains how such information may be collected and used. The email address associated with your Red Sox Nation membership account will be your Red Sox Nation member username. You must use a unique email address and password for each membership purchased. The Boston Red Sox and MLB reserve the right to decline service to or terminate any account for suspicious activity or violation of the terms of this page or the redsox.com Terms of Use. All sales are final unless cancelled in accordance with the refund policy set forth below. For additional questions regarding membership, please contact us at [email protected]. The terms of purchase of a Red Sox Nation membership control in the event of a conflict between these terms and the MLB.com Terms of Use.

Does my membership renew automatically?

For members who purchased a new 2022 membership (i.e., whose 2022 membership was not an auto-renewed 2021 membership and who has not since opted-out of automatic renewal), no, your membership will not automatically renew.

For members who previously set up automatic renewal (i.e., whose 2022 membership was an auto-renewed 2021 membership), yes, your 2022 Red Sox Nation membership will automatically renew for 2023 at the previous year's regular full price ($19.95). Your automatically renewed membership may come with premiums (e.g., At Bat) of equal or greater value to the items provided as premiums in the previous year, though the exact type of premium(s) provided may change from year to year. Red Sox Nation will contact members whose memberships are subject to automatic renewal via email by the Spring of the following Major League Baseball season to notify them of their pending renewal. You may cancel your automatically renewed Red Sox Nation membership for a full refund of the purchase price by contacting [email protected] within ten (10) days of your 2023 renewal date, which will be included in the email sent to the email address associated with your account notifying you of the renewal of your membership. There will be no returns, refunds or exchanges after this date.

Red Sox Nation may determine, in its discretion, to discontinue Red Sox Nation membership offered with automatic renewal. If that occurs, such memberships will not automatically renew. Red Sox Nation will contact those members by email prior to the start of the next Major League Baseball regular season to notify them of available membership options, if any, for that year's Major League Baseball season.

Will I receive information about my automatic renewal?

Yes. All Red Sox Nation members who previously selected the automatic renewal option when originally purchasing their memberships, and such membership is still available in 2023, and have not canceled or purchased a new membership for 2023 will receive notification of the pending renewal by the Spring of the following Major League Baseball season. The membership will automatically renew approximately two (2) weeks later unless cancelled as set forth above. Can I purchase a Red Sox Nation membership as a gift?

No. Red Sox Nation memberships are not eligible to be purchased as a gift on behalf of someone else.

When will my membership automatically renew?

If your 2021 membership automatically renewed in 2022, and you have not since opted-out of the automatic renewal feature, then your membership will automatically renew in or around March 2023. You will receive notification of the pending renewal in the Spring and, unless cancelled in accordance with these terms, your membership will automatically renew approximately two (2) weeks later. If you do not cancel by the date set forth in your notification email, then your membership will be subject to the refund policy set forth below.

Is it possible to get a refund for my Red Sox Nation membership?

Yes. In order to provide the highest customer satisfaction possible, MLB will refund the paid purchase price of a Red Sox Nation membership if a refund request is received at [email protected] within ten (10) days of your purchase or renewal date. No termination or refund requests will be accepted after this date.

I recently changed my address. How can I update my mailing information?

You can change your address in your MLB.com account. Please note, if your address is changed after placing an order, we cannot guarantee that it will be shipped to the new address. Please contact the Red Sox Nation team at [email protected] or call (617) 226-6579 to update a shipping address.

Membership Cards; Benefits

How do I access my digital Red Sox Nation membership card?

Through the MLB Ballpark app you will also have access to your Red Sox Nation membership card (MLB Ballpark app supported device required). Once you have logged into the MLB Ballpark app, tap on the teams button in the bottom menu, and select Boston Red Sox. You will then see the Red Sox Nation Option under Services and Information. Once you have done that, please click on wallet and you will see your name, badges and eCash* if applicable balance (if applicable). Click on "Show My Card" to display barcode. You can use this barcode to scan your membership card at the Red Sox Nation kiosk in Fenway Park by Gate B and to redeem your eCash balance at select concessions stands at Fenway Park.

As a Red Sox Nation member do I have access to a members-only section?

Yes. Members of Red Sox Nation will have access to special offers and content on the members-only section of redsox.com. You must have a valid Red Sox Nation username and password to log in. The email address associated with your Red Sox Nation membership account will be your Red Sox Nation member username.

Do I have access to At Bat for my computer and supported mobile devices?

Yes. With At Bat, you can listen to all regular season MLB games live or on demand (with no blackout restrictions). You have the choice of home or away broadcasts and alternative Spanish audio (where available), as well as archives of the 2022 and 2021 seasons (not all features available on all devices). Watch your favorite team's Minor League affiliate games in the MLB app or download the First Pitch App and watch more than 7,000 streamed games for affiliates of all 30 MLB Clubs, including all 60 Triple-A and Double-A Clubs, plus home games from more than 40 additional Clubs.

What is eCash and how can I use my balance?

This season, all Red Sox Nation members will receive $10 of bonus eCash credit as part of their membership package. This balance can be accessed via the Red Sox Nation digital member card barcode via the MLB Ballpark app. eCash is valid toward purchases at select Fenway Park concessions and merchandise stands (excluding alcohol) and the Red Sox Team Store at 19 Jersey Street during the 2023 season, and can be redeemed by scanning your member card barcode. eCash balances cannot be refunded for cash value. Please allow 3-5 business days from the date of membership purchase or renewal for eCash to be added to your membership card.

Will I receive Red Sox Nation exclusive ticket opportunities?

Yes. From time to time, Red Sox Nation members will receive the opportunity to participate in exclusive ticket opportunities. These opportunities will be communicated to members via e-mail and/or on the Red Sox Nation members-only section on redsoxnation.com. All offers will be available for a limited time and subject to availability and any terms posted in connection with each opportunity in the Red Sox Nation members-only section on redsoxnation.com and/or included in the e-mail, as applicable. Check the Red Sox Nation members-only section on redsoxnation.com regularly for details and updates.

Team Store Discounts

Do I get a discount at the team store?

Yes. All 2023 Red Sox Nation members will receive ten percent (10%) off discount on eligible purchases through 12/31/2023, at the official Red Sox Team Store located at 19 Jersey Street. Red Sox Nation member must present digital membership card via the MLB Ballpark app prior to the completion of transaction. Discount is taken off each item and rounded down to the nearest whole dollar. Discount is not valid on past purchases. Discount may not be used on customizations, memorabilia, game used or dated/commemorative merchandise purchases. Discount is not valid for already reduced items, out of stock items or online purchases. This discount is not combinable with any other discounts. This discount is not valid towards the purchase of gift cards. Other exclusions may apply.

Do I get discounts on the redsox.com online shop?

Yes. Members may take ten percent (10%) off a single eligible order at mlbshop.com/redsox, the Official Online Shop of the Boston Red Sox. Valid only at mlbshop.com/redsox. The discount code will be available to you through the Red Sox Nation members-only section on redsoxnation.com. Valid on one (1) qualifying product order of in-stock merchandise. The discount code will be valid from 12:00 a.m. ET on February 20, 2023, through 11:59 p.m. ET on December 31, 2023. Limit one (1) use per member/email address. Discount excludes On Sale items; additional exclusions may apply. Discount code is not valid for gift certificates, gift cards, taxes, shipping, handling or other services. Cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. Except where required by law, cannot be redeemed for cash or cash equivalent. Not valid on previous purchases. No cash back.
