Red Sox Probable Pitchers

Pivetta has generally gotten the job done so far in his first season with the Red Sox. He has allowed three earned runs or less in five of his six starts. Pivetta won a previous start at Camden Yards this season, giving up four runs over six innings.

Kremer rebounded in a big way on Monday, holding the Mariners to one run across six solid innings. The young righty had pitched to an 8.40 ERA in his previous four starts.

The lefty has pitched well in his past two starts, but he is still winless on the season. Pérez is 2-2 with a 3.66 ERA in five career starts at Camden Yards. He's allowed just one homer so far this season.

For López, the issue is the fifth inning. He's fallen short of completing five frames in five of his six starts this season. He's struck out 25, walked 11 and allowed seven homers in 26 1/3 innings this season overall.

Bassitt's slider has become one of the more dominant pitches in baseball and is leading to an uptick in strikeouts. The right-hander has racked up at least seven punchouts in each of his last four starts.

The flame-throwing righty is coming off his worst start of the season, when he gave up seven hits and six runs over 4 1/3 innings against the Tigers. In seven career starts agianst Oakland, Eovaldi is 1-2 with a 4.28 ERA.

Kaprielian will be taking the mound for his first Major League start. The right-hander made his first start of the year for Triple-A Las Vegas last week, allowing two runs on eight hits and one walk with five strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings.

Rodriguez didn't have good fastball command in his last start, but did well enough with his offspeed stuff to hold the Orioles to one run over five innings to get the win. The lefty has pitched five innings or more in his last 34 starts, the second-longest active streak in the Majors behind Shane Bieber.

Manaea took a no-hitter into the eighth inning his last time out before finishing with one run allowed on two hits over 7 1/3 innings in a win over the Rays. The left-hander is 3-0 with a 2.23 ERA over his last six starts.

After a shaky start to the season, Richards is locking in. In his last three starts, he is 2-0 with a 2.84 ERA. Lifetime against Oakland, Richards is 3-4 with a 4.29 ERA in 18 games (14 starts).
