Fox Sports Detroit broadcaster Mario Impemba is honored to salute those who served and the families impacted by the service of a loved one in support of our nation through his MVP (Military Veterans Program) at Monday home games at Comerica Park. Impemba invited groups of 20 veterans and their families to be treated to a Detroit Tigers game in a luxury suite, receive ballpark fare catering, a "MVP" t-shirt, an autographed photo of Tigers broadcaster Mario Impemba, and complimentary transportation to and from the ballpark. Additionally, the guests participated in a private meet and greet with Impemba in the suite.
The Detroit Tigers are proud to give back to the men and women who serve our country and make sacrifices for our freedom and safety. Through a variety of programs, the Tigers show appreciation for active and former military members as well as local first responders for their service.
