Join the City of Lakeland and Polk County as they welcome back your Detroit Tigers at the 75th Annual Tiger BBQ, a tradition dating back to 1947.
Enjoy live music, food, and fun as we kick off the 2022 Spring Training season. The event includes an all-you-can-eat buffet, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. All attendees will receive a souvenir Tigers BBQ mug.
Net proceeds from the event benefit the Detroit Tigers Foundation of Florida, Inc., providing athletic opportunities to underprivileged children in Polk County.
Takeout orders and autographs are prohibited.
This spring marks the Tigers' 86th season in Lakeland, extending the longest-standing relationship between a Major League team and a current Spring Training host city.
