Leading off Miggy Celebration Weekend is Party in the Park, presented by Casamigos Tequila! Enjoy Venezuelan music, Latin food and drink offerings, and ¡Gracias, Miggy! photo opportunities on the Comerica Landing and throughout the concourse. Plus, a mini Miggy museum will be on display near the Comerica Big Cat Court.

All fans will receive a Commemorative Miggy Comic Book Cover, presented by Comerica Bank, celebrating his Hall of Fame worthy accomplishments. Stay after the game for Comerica Park’s first ever Drone Show, presented by Meijer!

El Rey | Miggy's Favorites

Now Open! In honor of Miguel Cabrera’s heritage, the Tigers, Pepsi and El Rey de las Arepas are hosting a pop-up experience that will feature food from one of Cabrera’s favorite restaurants in Southwest Detroit. For $15, fans are invited to enjoy a “Miggy Sampler” including a mini arepa, mini cachapa, plantains, a passion fruit juice and Pepsi products – plus, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Miguel Cabrera Foundation.

Located at 44 Columbia Street, El Rey is open to the public on select days during the month of September:

  • Tuesday, September 26: 3:30-7pm
  • Wednesday, September 27: 3:30-7pm
  • Thursday, September 28: 11am- 2pm
  • Friday, September 29: 3:30-7pm (Miggy Celebration Weekend)

Delicious food offerings from El Rey de las Arepas will also be available in Comerica Park (near Section 116) throughout Miggy Celebration Weekend.
