The Oakland A's will open the 2021 season at the Oakland Coliseum on Thursday, April 1, with an Opening Day game versus the Houston Astros. Following the four-game opening series, the A's will also host the Los Angeles Dodgers (April 5-7) before departing for a five-game road trip.

Before regular season play begins, the A's will host two exhibition games versus the Giants (March 28-29), then travel across the Bay for a final exhibition game in San Francisco on March 30. The two teams will meet in the regular season for their annual Battle of the Bay Series, playing at Oracle Park on June 25-27 and at the Coliseum on Aug. 20-22.

The 2021 schedule also features Interleague play against the remaining teams in the National League West, including home series versus the Arizona Diamondbacks (June 8-9) and San Diego Padres (Aug. 3-4) in addition to the April series against the Dodgers. The A's meet the Diamondbacks (April 12-13), Colorado Rockies (June 4-6), and Padres (July 27-28) on the road.

The A's will be home for Independence Day, as they play host to the Boston Red Sox (July 2-4) to finish off a six-game homestand. The 2021 regular season will wrap up with the team on the road at Houston (Oct. 1-3).

The A's will also face the NL West during the 60-game 2020 season, which is set to begin on Friday, July 24.
