Hometown Hero

The Atlanta Braves are proud to support our active-duty military, veterans, and their families at Truist Park at every Friday home game. In partnership with Ford, the Braves salute the men and women who keep our country safe through the Hometown Hero program. Throughout the season, individuals will be selected and honored as our Hometown Hero. This recognition program is designed to showcase individuals who have made a significant impact through their military service.

Want to nominate yourself or someone you know to be a Hometown Hero?

Each Hometown Hero is an active-duty or retired military member. They can be nominated by themselves, others, or organizations. All nominees are reviewed by an Atlanta Braves selection committee, and selected honorees will be celebrated during a Friday night home game at Truist Park.

Helpful tip: Hometown Hero honorees must have a unique, dynamic story to tell. Please include as much detail in your nomination submission as possible. Give details on a story of valor. Provide insights to how this person has gone above-and-beyond to serve their country.

*Please note: A submission of your nominee does not guarantee selection. Hometown Heroes are selected by a committee among many applicants. Nominee must be 18 years of age or older. If your candidate is selected, you will be notified by a member of our selection committee.*
