The 140-room, lifestyle hotel will join the recently announced Silverspot Cinema and Savi Provisions as part of the mixed-use center's development. This signifies The Battery Atlanta surpassing the 90% threshold in leases on the first phases of the master development plan.
The Battery Atlanta has been an incredible success and a true economic driver in the Cumberland section of Cobb County. Other retailers slated to open at The Battery Atlanta include: BURN by Rocky Patel; Jittery Joe's (inside Savi Provisions); Overton's; Rock/Creek; Savi Provisions; Silverspot Cinema; SunTrust Bank.
If you combine with the recently announced move of thyssenkrupp's North American headquarters with a state-of-the-art 420-foot tall elevator qualification and test tower to Phase Two, the BDC and their partners have now provided just under $850 million in private investment into over 2 million square feet across the total project.
