Homestand 2: April 9 - 16

Below is a complete guide of everything you need to know as you prepare to come to Petco Park as the Padres take on the Colorado Rockies (April 9 - 12), presented by Southwest Airlines, and the Seattle Mariners (April 14 - 16).

All tickets are digital and can be accessed within the MLB Ballpark app. Our full digital ticketing guide will help you to sign into your Padres MyTickets account to manage your tickets, as well as how to access your tickets in the Ballpark app. Follow the step-by-step instructions to learn how to access, transfer, exchange (members-only!), or donate your tickets. All tickets must be accessed in the MLB Ballpark app for scanning and entry at the gates on gamedays. Make sure to transfer tickets to everyone in your party before the game so everyone has their own digital ticket.

Screenshots will not be accepted at the gates for entry. Also, please have the latest version of the Ballpark app updated prior to entering the Ballpark for the first time this season. We recommend accessing your tickets on the Ballpark app before arriving to Petco Park to ensure you have the latest version of the app and can view your ticket barcodes! Additionally, we recommend saving your tickets to your phone's wallet in case you have connectivity issues when you arrive at Petco Park. Please note, Android users are unable to save to their wallet and must go directly through the Ballpark app to access their tickets.

Petco Park will prohibit bags, except for clutches and purses no larger than 5” X 7”, single-compartment clear plastic bags not exceeding 12” X 6” X 12”, or infant and medical bags.

Season Ticket Members have access to the ballpark two (2) hours prior to first pitch, which is 30 minutes prior to the public. Dedicated Member Gates are located at Home Plate Gate and Park Blvd. Gate.

In addition, all members can enter through the East Village Gate on Thursday, April 9, starting at 3 PM to watch Padres Batting Practice in its entirety.

Please see the schedule below for the various gate times for the weekend series against the Rockies. When entering certain gates, fans will have access to only select locations until all gates are open (designated by “Public Gates” on the schedule):

Public Transportation

When planning your trip to Petco Park, consider MTS, which provides direct, frequent service to Petco Park on all three Trolley lines and select bus routes. You can avoid traffic and parking by using MTS Park & Ride lots along the Trolley system. North County COASTER provides an alternative mass-transit option to get safely to the ballpark.

Parking

Padres preferred parking is available adjacent to Petco Park. Guests are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase their parking to guarantee a spot in these convenient lots. Pre-paid parking is unavailable for purchase online within 4 hours of first pitch.

Rideshare

A designated rideshare loading zone is located across the street from the Bayfront Hilton Hotel (next to the Convention Center) on Harbor Drive and Park Boulevard. We encourage fans to get dropped off and picked up at this location, and then take the pedestrian sky bridge towards Petco Park.

Concession stands are open on all levels of the ballpark with new offerings including Coco Ichibanya and Pop Pie Co. In-seat delivery via the MLB Ballpark app is available for both food and beverage in premium seating areas (Blue Shield Home Plate Club, First Base VIP Box, Lexus Club, Cutwater Coronado Club, and Terrace Level).

The QR Code will be your virtual Member Discount Card. Please show this at the point of sale at concession stands and the Team Store to receive your 10% Membership Discount. You can also use your 10% off discount using Padres Pay with a convenient single-scan purchase at concessions and retail spaces throughout the ballpark.

Available from the time Member Gates open until first pitch, you can enjoy special drink offers at several locations throughout the ballpark. Please show your Membership Discount Card or Padres Pay to receive this Member Happy Hour pricing. All specials start at $5 and happy hour locations and offerings are subject to change.

Join us for the Padres Member Batting Practice Experience this season! We open gates early for one game each homestand to all Padres Members to watch the entirety of Padres batting practice, and potentially catch a home run.

The first opportunity to watch the Padres batting practice in its entirety is Thursday, April 9 and the East Village Gate will open at 3 PM. Keep an eye out for special baseballs (with gold stitching!) being hit throughout batting practice as part of the Golden Ball Promotion, sponsored by Rawlings. Snag any golden ball hit into the reserved outfield seating area and receive one (1) complimentary replica Padres jersey of your choice, subject to availability. These baseballs may be redeemed at the Team Store at any point during the game.

The Padres return to Petco Park to take on the Colorado Rockies, presented by Southwest Airlines, April 9 – 12, followed by the Seattle Mariners, April 14 – 16.

On Thursday, the first 40,000 fans in attendance will take home a Manny’s Hot Corner Bobblehead, presented by McDonald’s. This is a HOT collectible you won’t want to miss!

Then on Friday, don't miss the on-field debut of the new City Connect uniforms. The Padres New Era Team Store will open early Thursday and Friday, (April 9-10) at 8 AM so fans can shop City Connect gear, hats, and custom apparel exclusive to Petco Park.

To kick off the first City Connect Friday, arrive early in Gallagher Square for a City Connect themed Party in the Park, presented by Southwest Airlines! Enjoy $5 drink specials, live music, and shop the new City Connect gear starting at 3:30 PM.

The party continues Saturday with Nova Kombucha drink specials and live music during pregame.

Sundays are for the kids! Families are encouraged to arrive when gates open for KidsFest, presented by Nuna, to enjoy bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and other kid-friendly activities in the newly renovated Gallagher Square. After the game, the fun keeps going with Kids Run the Bases, presented by Chick-fil-A, for kids ages 14 and under.

Finally, on Wednesday, April 15 when the Padres take on the Mariners, the first 40,000 fans in attendance will take home a cozy Puffer Vest, thanks to StateFarm.
