Didi activated, rejoins ailing Phillies lineup

Harper did not start for a third consecutive game after he was hit in the face with a 97 mph fastball on Wednesday in St. Louis. Harper is OK, but he had a sore left wrist after the pitch deflected off his face. He is feeling better, and his status remains day to day.

Realmuto did not start for a second consecutive game with left hand soreness, incurred trying to block a ball in the dirt on Thursday. He was available off the bench Saturday.

Segura has been on the 10-day injured list since April 21 because of a strained right quadriceps. He was eligible to be activated Saturday.

Gregorius had not played since he was hit in the ribs with a pitch on Wednesday. He did not play Thursday because of soreness, but then he was placed on the COVID-related injured list on Friday. He lasted there only one day.

The Phillies optioned catcher Rafael Marchan to make room for Gregorius on the roster. They also recalled outfielder Mickey Moniak to replace Roman Quinn, who was placed on the COVID-related IL.
