Alejandro Auffant
Coordinator, Government & Neighborhood Affairs - Boston Red Sox
Alejandro Auffant is originally from Puerto Rico and has always seen sports as more than the game itself. His career has taken him from the Puerto Rico Olympic Committee, where he worked across the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic cycles, to the Boston Red Sox, where he now works in Government & Neighborhood Affairs after previously supporting Sam Kennedy, President & CEO of the Red Sox and Fenway Sports Group. Along the way, he has built a career around connecting people, working behind the scenes, and using sports as a bridge between communities and cultures. He was also part of the inaugural Lee Elder Internship at the U.S. Open, an experience that deepened his commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in sports.
Kristen Carsello
Event Manager - Evergreen Fenway
Kristen Carsello is an Event Manager with the Boston Red Sox, where she oversees both internal and external non-ticketed events. Originally from South Florida, Kristen graduated from college in 2018 and then moved to Chicago to begin her career with the Chicago Cubs. She spent a couple of years with the organization before transitioning to the financial services industry, where she worked for three years planning team summits and conferences. In January 2024, Kristen relocated to Boston to join the Red Sox organization, bringing with her a diverse background in event management, operations, and client service.
Alberto M. Faña (Chico)
Coach - Lindos Sueños
Alberto is a professional MLB baseball coach with over 25 years of experience. He is an active member of the Dominican Youth Service League, with over 26 players that he developed and signed as free agents by MLB. He played professional baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies Minor League as First Baseman and Catcher from 1992-1994. He then worked as a Minor League manager, hitting coach and catcher roving instructor for 6 years in the Philadelphia Phillies Organization, from 1995-2001. From 2001 until mid 2022, Alberto developed an off-season baseball program with amateur and professional baseball players that focused on hitting, fielding, and running. He is currently residing in San Antonio Texas, where he is managing the middle school baseball team of Cornerstone Christian Schools and is also the catching coach for the high school Varsity and JV baseball teams since November of 2022. He is also working with the Trosky Southwest baseball organization, where he manages the Trosky's 12U and 13U and the summer baseball Trosky's 14U team.

Beatriz Lopez
Director, Digital & Multicultural Marketing - Boston Red Sox
Originally from Miami, Florida, Beatriz joined the Red Sox in 2019, working on developing digital marketing strategies for the organization. Her role has since expanded to include the development and growth of Red Sox owned Spanish language channels, and management of multicultural marketing efforts. Beatriz graduated from Brandeis University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies in 2015 and obtained her MBA from Boston University in 2024. She resides in Framingham, Massachusetts with her husband Mark and their dogs Mila and Winnie. She recently completed the 2025 Boston Marathon in support of the Red Sox Foundation and is training for her next marathon in December 2025!
Maddie Malhotra
Manager, Photography - Boston Red Sox
Maddie Malhotra is a Boston-based commercial and editorial photographer with a passion for telling stories rooted in sports. She is the Manager of Photographer for the Boston Red Sox where she has been making baseball (and non-baseball) photos since 2019. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Maddie graduated from Boston University’s College of Communication in 2018. She lives in Jamaica Plain with her partner Colin and dog Grady.
Nate Montero
Specialist, Community & Player Relations - Boston Red Sox
Nate is originally from Salem, Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in political science, and he later graduated from Georgetown University with a Master in Sports Management. He joined the Red Sox Community Relations department in May 2021 and since then has managed the Commissioner's Community Initiative ticket program, in-kind donations, and auction experiences for the team.
Casey Pope
Coordinator, Red Sox Productions - Boston Red Sox
Casey is a Production Coordinator for Red Sox Productions, where he is responsible for planning, production, and post-production of both in-park and social/web video. Casey graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A in Film & Television Studies, while minoring in Public Communication. Since joining the Red Sox in 2023, Casey is a three-time NE Emmy Award winner, and a bronze Cleo Award recipient. Casey currently resides in Boston and loves to explore the city on foot.
Katelyn Reilly
Senior Director of Corporate Communications - Boston Red Sox
Kate is the Senior Director of Corporate Communications for the Boston Red Sox, where she manages all non-baseball communications for the club. A proud Lawrence, Massachusetts native, Katelyn joined the Red Sox in 2022 after a decade in public service, including roles as Chief of Staff to Lawrence Mayor Daniel Rivera and Communications Director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' COVID-19 Command Center. She holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and criminology from Southern New Hampshire University and serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Boston Chapter. Kate lives in South Lawrence with her two rescue dogs.
Geovi Rivera
Game Day Supervisor - Red Sox Foundation
Geovi Rivera is originally from Puerto Rico and has been living in Boston since 2012. Since arriving in Massachusetts, Geovi has built a strong professional career, working full-time with JetBlue Airways at Boston Logan International Airport since 2012, where he has gained valuable experience in the aviation industry. Since 2013, Geovi has also been actively involved with the Boston Red Sox Foundation. He began his journey as a volunteer with the 50/50 raffle program, later becoming a seller, and for the past three seasons has served as a supervisor, supporting the team and the foundation's community efforts. Geovi brings a strong background in construction and maintenance, supported by his education as a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus. His combination of technical knowledge, hands-on experience, leadership, and dedication to community service reflects his commitment to excellence in every role he takes on.
Luis Vasquez
Ball Attendant, Fan Services & Entertainment - Boston Red Sox
Luis Vasquez is a communications professional and lifelong Cambridge, MA resident. A graduate of Emerson College, he has built his career in media, storytelling, and community engagement. Earlier in his career, he served as director of a local youth center and worked as a baseball coach at the teenage level, focused on helping young people grow as players and individuals. Luis has been part of the Boston Red Sox organization for 20 seasons, including three World Series championship runs, and was recognized with a 2025 Employee of the Year award. He is honored to support the Lindos Sueños initiative and its mission of using baseball to inspire and develop the next generation of leaders. Luis is a husband and father of three.
