Etch your name in Mariners History

On September 3, we will unveil a new Legacy Plaza at T-Mobile Park, offering fans a unique opportunity to become a permanent part of Mariners history. The Plaza, located just inside the center field gate, will feature a special wall of commemorative bats and baseball medallions, plus the Tribute to 2001 Statue depicting Mike Cameron and Mark McLemore—honoring our 116-win season and commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11th.

Purchase and customize one of 2,000+ baseball medallions or bid on a commemorative bat to claim your spot in the Legacy Plaza. Our commemorative bats—representing each win during the historic 2001 season—are officially sold out, but three special dates have been set aside for online auction.

  • April 2: Win #1 and Ichiro's MLB debut
  • Sept. 19: Win #106 and AL West clinch
  • Oct. 6: Win #116, tying Major League record for most wins in a single season

Proceeds from the Legacy Plaza will benefit Mariners Legacy Field projects in Washington state.

Commemorative Bat: Online Auction
Baseball Medallion: $250 each

All bats and baseball medallions purchased before July 13 will be included in the unveiling of our new Legacy Plaza on September 3. Purchases made after that date will be installed during the offseason.

Proceeds from the Legacy Plaza will benefit Mariners Legacy Field projects to build and enhance youth baseball and softball fields in Washington state.

To date, the Mariners Care Foundation has funded two Mariners Legacy Field projects—Lower Woodland (2001) and Rainier Playfield (2023)—and supported additional field enhancement initiatives through the Mariners Community All-Stars program.
