Fund Your Future

In 2025, we launched an initiative to help students from underserved communities complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to assist in providing a financial path to college. With funding support from the Gates Foundation, we are partnering with organizations who support students to provide resources both online and during a Resource Fair on April 20—helping students navigate the application process and make informed decisions about what to do after high school.

WA Grant is money to help pay for career training, college or an apprenticeship.

For high school students and families, completing a FAFSA or WASFA application is the first step to accessing state financial aid—free money from the State of Washington to help pay for many types of education, including career training, college or an apprenticeship. Nearly half of Washington households qualify to receive the WA Grant.

To apply, complete a federal or state financial aid application (FAFSA or WASFA).

Fund Your Future Event at T-Mobile Park

Come join us at the ballpark for the Fund Your Future Student Resource Fair on April 20! Score specially priced tickets to our game vs. the Athletics, plus access to booths around the concourse where students can talk with experts to help them navigate the application process and make informed about what to do after high school. A $5 donation from each ticket will go toward supporting the Mariners Care Foundation's work to support access to financial aid resources.
