2021 Season Preview
Padres baseball is back and we're looking forward to safely welcoming you back to Petco Park. There have been some changes since we've last opened the ballpark to fans, so please read through all information in this email thoroughly to best prepare you in advance.
OPENING SERIES presented by Sycuan Casino Resort
DIGITAL TICKETING & BALLPARK APP HOW TO’S
All tickets are digital and can be accessed within the MLB Ballpark app. Our full digital ticketing guide will help you to sign into your Padres MyTickets account to manage your tickets, as well as how to access your tickets in the Ballpark app. Follow the step-by-step instructions to learn how to access, transfer, exchange (members-only!), or donate your tickets. All tickets must be accessed in the MLB Ballpark app for scanning and entry at the gates on gamedays. Make sure to transfer tickets to everyone in your party before the game so everyone has their own digital ticket.
Screenshots will not be accepted at the gates for entry. Also, please have the latest version of the Ballpark app updated prior to entering the Ballpark for the first time this season. We recommend accessing your tickets on the Ballpark app before arriving to Petco Park to ensure you have the latest version of the app and can view your ticket barcodes! Additionally, we recommend saving your tickets to your phone's wallet in case you have connectivity issues when you arrive at Petco Park. Please note, Android users are unable to save to their wallet and must go directly through the Ballpark app to access their tickets.
NEW ENTRY POLICY CHANGES
For enhanced ballpark security and to expedite the entry process for all of our guests, Petco Park will prohibit bags with the exception of single compartment bags measuring 7” x 10” or smaller, infant and medical bags.
RECOMMENDED ENTRANCE & GATE TIMES
You will have a specific, dedicated entrance assigned to you each game and will be noted on your ticket. It is recommended that you only enter through your assigned gate. All entry gates will open to guests 90 minutes prior to first pitch for all games. Season Ticket Members have access to the ballpark to enter 2 hours prior to first pitch (via your designated gate). All gates on Opening Day open 2 hours prior to first pitch.
PARKING
Single game parking can be purchased via Special Offers in your Account Manager. Member parking passes are discounted and the purchase does not include any service fees. Parking will be loaded into the MLB Ballpark app once purchased. Parking, when available, can be purchased up until (4) hours prior to game time.
MOBILE ORDERING & CASHLESS PAYMENTS
Concessions are only available for mobile order pickup using the MLB Ballpark app. You can also order beverages directly to your seat. Download MLB Ballpark and use your mobile device to order food and beverage. In the app, click on the "SD" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Mobile Order Self Pick Up" to order food and/or beverage that will be available for pickup. After you order and check out, you'll receive a text letting you know when to go pick up your order. Select "In-Seat Beverage Delivery" for drink delivery directly to your seat.
MOBILE ORDER SELF PICK UP VS. IN-SEAT BEVERAGE DELIVERY
- Mobile Order Self Pick Up = Order food and/or beverage from your seat and get notified via text when to go pick-up your order at the specified location.
- In-Seat Beverage Delivery = Order a drink to get delivered to you in your seat.
We're now also a cashless venue to limit physical transactions. Use your mobile device for cashless payments. Pay easily with Padres Pay! Load your credit or debit card information and easily, quickly and safely pay for all concessions and merchandise. Google Pay or Apple Pay also accepted.
Ordered food and didn't receive a text yet to pick up your order?
- Be patient and please allow approximately 15 minutes for your order to be ready
- Pay close attention to where you ordered
- Take a screenshot once you complete your order
- Walk to the appropriate concession stand with your screenshot to inquire about your order if you did not receive a text message 15-20 minutes after placing your order
MEMBER IN-GAME BENEFITS
12The Padres Membership Headquarters is located at Section 105 across from Seaside Market. Stop by to chat with a Membership Services Representative. The Member Lounge will be closed. Member Happy Hour will still be in effect! Two hours before first pitch, you'll receive $5 Member Happy Hour pricing which will be reflected in the MLB Ballpark app. Here's how it works!
- Go to the MLB Ballpark app
- Select "Mobile Ordering", then select "Ballpark Eats"
- Drinks Available for Happy Hour: 16-ounce Bud Light, Cutwater Vodka Mule, or Cutwater Margarita
- $5 discount will show when you get to your cart (Applies only from gates to first pitch)
- Click "Member Loyalty Card". Not logged in? Log in with your Padres Account email and password.

HEALTH & SAFETY
The health and safety of our guests and staff is our number one priority. We have implemented new and enhanced health and safety measures to ensure you safely enjoy your time at Petco Park. During your visit to Petco Park, remember to stay physically distant. Please keep at least six feet between your party and other guests. All guests and staff are required to wear face coverings over your nose and mouth at all times except while actively eating or drinking in your seat. COMPADRES FAN REWARDS
There will be some changes to Compadres Fan Rewards this season. Be on the lookout for an update with more details. In the meantime, you'll notice some small changes in the portal. You will still get rewarded for the things you already do as a fan, like scanning your digital tickets and purchasing concessions and merchandise. You'll see some items in the Rewards Marketplace and you can begin claiming with any of your available points. Stay tuned for more information including information on Member Events.
