Earlier this week, the Glenmoore Eagle Little League team, who represented the Mid-Atlantic Region in this year’s Little League World Series, were invited to take the field at Citizens Bank Park before a game vs. the New York Mets.
The team watched batting practice from the warning track, and got a chance to interact with star players including Kyle Schwarber, Nick Castellanos and Bryson Stott, among others. During pregame ceremonies, the team was honored on-field in front of a crowd of Philly faithful.
