Rays players thank fathers for years of support

ST. PETERSBURG -- Father's Day is almost here, and Rays players are thankful for the role their fathers played in helping them to become Major Leaguers.

Not only did the fathers help their sons with their budding baseball skills, they also helped them learn some of life's lessons.

Luke Scott, Alex Cobb, Fernando Rodney and Sean Rodriguez talked to MLB.com about their fathers. Each of the players sent a special message to his dad, thanking him for years of support.
