FUN AT BAT

The Reds Community Fund and USA Baseball have partnered to bring young athletes a unique baseball & softball experience known as Fun At Bat. Through this program, kids learn every aspect of the game from fielding and throwing to batting, all while placing an emphasis on character development, functional movement, literacy, active play, and fun! The overarching goal of the program is to promote fun and active lifestyles for children while teaching them the fundamentals of baseball and softball.

Fun At Bat ā€“ P.E. Program

The Cincinnati Reds work with schools (grades K-5) all over the region to bring the Fun At Bat program to P.E. classes in order to grow the game and get more kids interested in the sport. Last school year, we reached over 25,000 students all the way from Dayton to Louisville through their P.E. classes. If you know of a school or P.E. teacher that might be interested in learning more or implementing the program at their school, please reach out to [email protected].

Fun At Bat ā€“ Academy Program

Each Fall and Winter, the Reds Youth Academy implements the Fun at Bat program for kids ages 4-7 years old. This program is held each Saturday morning at the Reds Youth Academy and kids will get the opportunity to play t-ball games on our indoor turf field!
