On November 28, the Reds Community Fund is proud to participate in #GivingTuesday. The global day of giving invites individuals to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season by giving back and initiating change in their communities and their world. Together, we can make a difference.
Thanks to the Reds Community Fund Board of Directors, this year’s campaign will include a $10,000 matching gift.
One of the primary goals of the Reds Community Fund (RCF) is to develop student-athletes into Major League Citizens through the RCF Scholars program. This immersive year-long curriculum combines individualized high-level athletic training with academic support and life skills development. The program serves each high school (9th-12th grade) student-athlete in the Reds Nike RBI program and provides them with the tools to succeed both on and off the field. The content also includes strategic partnerships with the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, Beech Acres, Mount St. Joseph University, and others.

We’re committed to 100% high school graduation rate and the successful transition of our high school seniors to college, military service, trade school opportunities, or the workforce. Your donation to the Reds Community Fund on #GivingTuesday can help fund our seminars, college campus visits and experiences, business introductions, scholarships for our graduating seniors and more! YOUR donation will help us develop Major League Citizens.
Ohio residents can support the RCF's initiatives and show their Reds pride with specialty Cincinnati Reds license plates. Plates are just $35 in addition to standard registration fees and represent a tax-deductible donation of approximately $25 to the Reds Community Fund.
You can make a donation to the Reds Community Fund just by shopping at your local Kroger. Select the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund as your charity of choice and swipe your Kroger Plus Card while shopping. It's simple - just sign into your Kroger Plus Card and enroll or update your Community Rewards under your account settings (organization number 82592).
As you consider your year-end donation, we hope that you'll remember the impact that the Reds have had on your life and consider making a donation to the Reds Community Fund. 100% of your donation will support youth baseball and softball. All donations are tax deductible. Your gift can be unrestricted or earmarked for one of our six outreach initiatives. You can also make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one.
You can also help make a difference by volunteering to assist with Reds Community Fund programs. Whether it's coaching and mentoring youth players at the Reds Youth Academy or selling Split the Pot tickets at games, you can make an impact in many ways.
