Celebrate the legendary Dave Parker at Great American Ball Park on Tuesday, September 23!
Join the Parker family, former teammates, friends, and the community for a special evening honoring the legacy of Dave Parker, MLB legend, advocate, and beloved member of both the Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates. The matchup with the Pirates is a fitting game to honor Parker, who played his first 11 seasons in Pittsburgh and has been inducted in the team Hall of Fame for each organization.
This memorable event will celebrate Parker’s long-awaited induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, which happened posthumously in July after his passing on June 28.
Pregame ceremonies will honor Parker’s life and legendary career, along with tribute videos throughout the game. Additionally, fans will have the rare opportunity to see Parker’s official Hall of Fame plaque, straight from Cooperstown. Fans can see the plaque from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the museum. Following pregame ceremonies, the plaque will be featured in the ballpark inside the main gates on Crosley Terrace until end of the 7th inning.
A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased through this special offer will benefit the Dave Parker 39 Foundation. The organization’s mission is to raise awareness, fund research and support patients suffering Parkinson’s Disease.
Don’t miss your chance to honor “The Cobra” Dave Parker and help support his legacy!
