MLB's awards season is underway. Mark your calendars and learn everything you need to know about the honors awaiting the game's top players and performances of 2026.

Gold Glove Awards

Rawlings awarded hardware to honor the top defensive players in the game, with nine players taking home their first Gold Gloves. The D-backs and Red Sox tied for the most for one club, with both teams boasting three honorees.

Clemente Award

In recognition for his extraordinary contributions to education, youth leadership, disaster relief in Puerto Rico and support for Queens youth, Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor was named the Roberto Clemente Award winner. The honor is bestowed annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field.

Postseason Awards

ALCS MVP

Across three ALCS appearances, including the Rays' Game 6 clinching victory over the Guardians, Freddy Peralta recorded a 0.75 ERA with nine strikeouts in 12 innings, going 2-0 en route to series MVP honors.

NLCS MVP

After completing two of the most epic plate appearances in recent postseason memory and collecting a team-high six RBIs -- which also tied a franchise postseason record -- Brewers slugger Jake Bauers was named the NLCS MVP after his Brewers swept the Dodgers .

World Series MVP

William Contreras did a little bit of everything for the Brewers, and he was rewarded as the franchise’s first World Series MVP. The Crew's backstop hit .381 while steering the Brewers' pitching staff, mastering the ABS challenge system and shutting down the Rays' running game from behind the plate.

Selig Award

The Allan H. Selig Award for Philanthropic Excellence celebrates the powerful impact MLB clubs are making off the field. Cast your ballot through Oct. 16 at 11:59 a.m. ET.

All-Star Game MVP

In the Midsummer Classic for the first time since '19, Cody Bellinger's two-run single was the pivotal strike in the AL’s three-run first that led to an eventual 4-0 victory and MVP honors. Bellinger became the fourth Yankee named All-Star MVP.

Monthly/Weekly honors

Both the Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong and Astros' Yordan Alvarez earned their respective league's Player of the Month Awards twice this season. See the full list of winners, plus every Pitcher of the Month and Player of the Week for 2026.
