Voice of the Parks

ā€œWe had an unfortunate tragedy - six people were shot during a softball tournament that was taking place right here at this field. I asked that - the Braves and the [Atlanta] Braves Foundation had invested in this community before in the 90s - I asked if they would be willing to come back out again and invest in a big way in light of the tragedy as a way for our community to heal and move forward... They came out in such a big way.ā€

- Councilmember Jason Dozier, District 4 Atlanta City Council
