In 2012, the D-backs launched D-backs Science of Baseball presented by Resolution Copper, a series of programs and initiatives that promote the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Recognizing that STEM is a priority within the community and the education system, the D-backs created season long programing and partnership opportunities designed to engage with teachers, schools, and students.
