Of the 840 players on 30 Double-A rosters, Jesús Made is the the only 18-year-old. He's five years younger than his average competition. And yet, you'll find his name toward the top of nearly every offensive statistical category in the Southern League.
After putting together his second three-hit game in his past four as part of Double-A Biloxi's 9-5 win over Rocket City on Thursday night at Keesler Federal Park, MLB’s No. 3 prospect leads the league in hits (25), is tied for the lead in runs (18) and triples (3) and ranks third in total bases (41), on-base percentage (.449) and OPS (1.003). He's also third in stolen bases (11) after matching his career high by swiping three bags on Thursday.
The Dominican Republic native once again showcased his 60-grade hit tool, peppering one knock to each part of the outfield -- a single to right in the first, a laser to center in the fourth, and an opposite-field single to left in the eighth.
A switch-hitter, Made pairs his elite bat speed with a compact and balanced swing from both sides of the plate. Those tools helped him produce an 81 percent in-zone contact rate in 2025.

Now factor in Made's 60-grade speed alongside those skills. Thursday's three thefts made him 11-for-12 on stolen-base attempts in 2026. A year ago, between Single-A, High-A and Double-A, the phenom swiped 47 bags.
