Team to watch
Shout out to Arkansas, not only for its eight Top 30 guys, but for what has to be one of the deeper Minor League rotations in baseball: Bryce Miller, Emerson Hancock, Bryan Woo and Prelander Berroa. All that being said, the nod has to go to Everett. We’re all in on the “Sir” Harry Ford train and think he might not be in High-A ball for long. He tops a group of five top 30 players, four of whom are in the top 15.

Players we could see in MLB in 2023
Taylor Dollard could be among the first arms called up from Tacoma if there’s a need in the rotation, with Cade Marlowe perhaps being the first bat in line. Even though they’re all in Double-A, that Arkansas group of arms could have an impact. Remember Miller was competing for a rotation spot this spring.

New faces
Felnin Celestin was the No. 2 prospect on MLB Pipeline’s Top 50 International Prospects list in January, and the Mariners gave him $4.7 million to sign. He’s a switch-hitting shortstop with tremendous upside, the kind of ceiling evaluators talked about when Wander Franco signed with the Rays and Marco Luciano joined the Giants.

On the shelf
Kaden Polcovich is a grinder who can play all over the field. The 2020 third-rounder will have to wait to continue clawing his way to Seattle after a broken hamate required surgery. He’ll head to Arkansas once he’s ready to go.
