SEATTLE, Wash. – Today, the Seattle Mariners unveiled the all-new Muckleshoot Diamond Club. Built on the ancestral Duwamish watershed, the Muckleshoot Diamond Club sits at the heart of T-Mobile Park and will honor the tribe and its traditions. This renovation was part of the largest expansion and most significant refresh of T-Mobile Park since opening in 1999.

“We’re excited to honor and celebrate the Muckleshoot tribe’s rich culture and Seattle heritage with our fans at T-Mobile Park. This is just the beginning of an incredible partnership that our community will see come to life over the next several months,” said Catie Griggs, Seattle Mariners President of Business Operations.

“The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe is proud to begin this partnership with the Seattle Mariners to bring the Muckleshoot Diamond Club to the fans of Mariners baseball. The Muckleshoot Diamond Club is a unique way to honor our everlasting and on-going place as both the original people of and a cultural anchor for this region and land. We are so incredibly thankful and excited to be able to share this distinctive experience with the Seattle Mariners,” said Donny Stevenson, Vice-Chairman Muckleshoot Indian Tribe.

The new club logo, which represents the Muckleshoot tribal lands and their location, showcases the shadow of Mount Rainer on a plateau where the White and Green Rivers meet. Additionally, four exterior club seats will be painted with tribal art representing the history of spears used for hunting and fishing.

In the coming months, photos and wall art created by tribal members will be displayed in the club, as well as several items that represent the tribe’s fishing traditions including spears, paddles, baskets, maps, and more. The Mariners are also working closely with tribal members to bring a variety of cultural food and beverage options to the premier club’s guests throughout the season.
