Here are the rosters for Wednesday's High School All-American Gamerincon

The next generation of baseball stars is set to play in Dyersville, Iowa, as the rosters for the 2026 High School All-American Game were announced on Friday.

The seventh iteration of the showcase event will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 2 p.m. ET in Dyersville, Iowa, at the Field of Dreams ballpark -- the day after MiLB at Field of Dreams and the day before MLB at Field of Dreams. The game will be broadcast live on MLB Network for the first time and will also stream on MLB.TV, MLB.com and the MLB App.

In all, 40 of the best rising high school seniors will compete in an event that has been historically stocked with top talent. Through the first six years, 46 competitors have gone on to become first-round picks the following year, and last year was no exception. Of the 40 who competed last year, 31 went on to be ranked in the Draft Top 250 and 19 were drafted (including nine in the first two rounds).

This year's group includes players from 16 different states, including local product Matt Meeker from host state Iowa. There's also heavy representation from MLB Develops (eight), Area Code Upperclass Games (21) and USA Baseball national team or development programming (17).

The High School All-American Game will feature several notable names, including Brady Cunningham, who won the 2026 High School Home Run Derby at this year's All-Star Weekend. Kinon Bastian, Sullivan Reed, Lubin Rincon and Grant Westphal also competed in the derby and are among the better power hitters.

The showcase will be loaded with infield talent, including shortstops Sebastian Castillo, Carter Hadnot, Leo Nockley and Dylan Seward. Castillo has the makings of a powerful right-handed hitter, while Hadnot is a plus runner and standout fielder and Nockley is an undersized but advanced hitter from the left side. Seward may be the top prospect in the game as a switch-hitter with excellent bat speed from both sides of the plate and top-of-the-line wheels.

Two pitchers to keep an eye on are righty George Ferguson, who can reach into the upper-90s with some of the best command in his class, and lefty Connor Salerno, who stands out for his sweeping slider and high-octane fastball from a lower slot. Plus, there's outfielder Malachi Butler and shortstop/right-hander Chase Fuller. Butler has a strong contact-oriented approach from the left side, while Fuller, the son of NFL defensive back Corey, is a toolsy hitter with power who also has a mid-90s fastball on the mound.

Three players related to former Major League will also be competing. Drake Hawpe is an outfielder with promising left-handed power like his All-Star father, Brad, and pairs it with a strong approach at the plate. Striker Pence, the newphew of two-time World Series champ Hunter, was one of the top players in the 2028 class before reclassifying and is a 6-foot-6 right-hander who routinely hits triple-digits with his fastball. Frank Thomas III, son of the Hall of Fame slugger, is a 6-foot-2 left-handed swinger with bat speed.

Hall of Famer Jim Thome (American League) and nine-time Gold Glove winner Torii Hunter (National League) will lead the teams as managers, with a group of former Major Leaguers and the entire USA Baseball U18 National Team serving as coaches. The AL staff will also include Luke Gregerson, JJ Lally, Scott Melvin, Doug Mientkiewicz, Corey Rodriguez and Brian Schneider. On the NL side is Rick Epstein, Matt Hyde, Jacque Jones, Chip Lawrence, Brad Penny and Tim Raines Jr. Kirk Champion will serve as the bullpen coach for both teams.
