Homers mashed & marked at Nationals Park

November 19th, 2020

At the rate pummels home runs, it could be challenging to keep track of where the balls soar out of Nationals Park. The Nats, though, already have a program in place to identify the landing spot of notable homers -- home run markers.

The program was created ahead of the 2015 season as a nod to the white seats inside Robert F. Kennedy Memorial (RFK) Stadium that highlighted monster homers from Washington Senators heavy hitter .

Initially, six home runs were chosen to be honored by a red seat or a plaque in Nationals Park. Since then, five more homers have been designated.
