Nationals set for World Series parade today

November 2nd, 2019

The Nationals' parade to celebrate their first World Series championship will be held today at 2 p.m. ET.

The parade will start on Constitution Avenue NW at 15th Street NW, proceed east along Constitution Avenue NW and end on Pennsylvania Avenue NW at 3rd Street NW. There will be a team rally at the end of the parade route. It can be seen live on MLB Network or on a simulcast at MLB.com.

The Nationals won the first World Series title in franchise history on Wednesday, ending a 50-year championship drought. The Nats beat the Astros in a thrilling seven-game series, including a late-inning comeback win in Wednesday's winner-take-all Game 7 in Houston.

Nationals fans attending the victory parade can go to sportscapital.dc.gov for the latest parade information or text "NATS" to 888-777 for alerts on safety, transit and weather updates.

Fans are also encouraged to take the Metro or other public transportation with parking extremely limited along the parade route.
