The Harper family is about to grow a little bigger.

Phillies superstar Bryce Harper and his wife, Kayla, announced via Instagram on Monday that the couple is expecting a baby girl.

The baby girl will be Harper’s second child after he and Kayla welcomed a son, Krew, last August. Last week, Harper appeared on Rawlings’ “The Dish” video podcast on YouTube and talked about how more family time has been a silver lining for him during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“I think at this time, of course, it’s been very terrible for a lot of people and people are going through hard times and struggles right now. It’s been bad for this whole country,” said Harper. “I’m very fortunate to be one of those people that have been able to be around my family. I’ve been able to really enjoy my family and my time with my son. I think I’m very fortunate to be able to do that right now.”
