Major League Baseball, the Philadelphia Phillies and the City of Philadelphia will make a major announcement at a press and fan event open to the public on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at 2:00 p.m.

The event will take place on Market Street, between 5th and 6th Streets, with Independence Hall as the backdrop.
