Fantasy Camp

Your special experience goes beyond your week in Arizona!

After you sign your "contract" just like the major leaguers, you'll take some swings in the batting cages at Great American Ball Park before the start of Reds Fantasy Camp. Typically held in December before you leave for Reds Fantasy Camp, you'll have the opportunity to come to GABP and take a tour of the Reds home clubhouse, meet with Reds trainers about physically preparing for Camp, and get in the cages and take some swings. It's a pre-camp perk to give you a taste of the big leagues!

Once you go to Reds Fantasy Camp, you’re eligible to take part in the post-camp reunion! Scheduled for the summer after you attend camp, this exciting weekend is a great chance to catch up with your camp teammates and relive those camp memories. Details for the 2024 event are still taking shape, but the weekend schedule is typically as follows:

Saturday – Games open to campers who have attended any previous camp, typically at the Reds Youth Academy or other local facility in Cincinnati

Sunday – 2024 Campers have the opportunity to be introduced on the field before a Reds game at Great American Ball Park. Hear your name announced and see your face on the scoreboard!

Monday – 2024 Campers take the field at Great American Ball Park just like the major leaguers! Games typically last seven innings and camp teams may be combined based on attendance.

After you attend camp, plan to join us at baseball's premier winter fan festival and catch up with your fellow campers and lots of coaches! Anyone who attends camp in 2023 is invited to participate in a Home Run Derby on the wiffle ball field, where the infamous Championship Belt goes to whoever slugs the most home runs!
