Moderators & Panel Participants

Award-winning anchor and reporter Aleah Hordges is Local 12's Good Morning Cincinnati News Anchor. Prior to her move to Cincinnati, Hordges was a reporter and anchor for WISH-TV in Indianapolis. Before her three years of anchoring and reporting for WISH-TV, Hordges was a reporter and multimedia journalist (MMJ) for WTKR in Norfolk, Virginia. She started her career in Marquette, Michigan as a reporter/anchor. Hordges has been recognized with a first-place award from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for Best Investigative Story as well as an Emmy nomination for an Information/Instructional-Feature Series from the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). Hordges graduated Cum Laude from Savannah State University, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Mass Communications. During her matriculation, Hordges received a full-time scholarship as a Division I track and field athlete. She was also a NCAA Student-Athlete of the Year nominee in 2013. Hordges is originally from Atlanta, GA. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

A proud native of Dayton, Ohio, Warren LeSell Williams serves as Vice President of Customer Success at LISNR, the leader in ultrasonic proximity data transmission. LISNR helps brands deliver seamless, secure, and context-aware experiences without relying on hardware, connectivity, or QR codes. Following the acquisition of Adren Labs, LISNR expanded its capabilities with Quest, a gamified loyalty and engagement platform. Powered by its Radius software, LISNR enables real-time presence detection, personalized interactions, and transactions-bridging the gap between digital and physical experiences in mobility, retail, fintech, and hospitality. Warren has been instrumental in shaping the company's customer engagement strategy, overseeing onboarding, implementation, and product support. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in the tech industry.

Warren is a passionate HBCU advocate and a 2009 graduate of Jackson State University, where he entered on a full football scholarship and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He currently serves as President of the JSU National Alumni Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter. He earned his MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Marketing from UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2017, where he received the Leadership Initiative Distinction and was named Student Spotlight in November 2016 for his impact both inside and outside the classroom. He also completed the Urban League's African American Leadership and Development Program (Class XXI) in 2014.

Deeply committed to community service and youth development, Warren is Co-Founder of Cincinnati Young Black Professionals (CYBP), a former Board President of Orion Academy and Board Member at Alliance Academy (2012-2021), and has held numerous leadership roles within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., including Past Polemarch and current Kappa League Mentor for the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter, Chairman of the East Central Province Nominating Committee, and Advisor to the Beta Eta Chapter at the University of Cincinnati. He also serves on the Community Advisory Council Board of the Cincinnati Reds.

His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Ray E. Clark Award from the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi (2017), a mayoral proclamation declaring December 9, 2017 as Cincinnati Young Black Professionals Day, and the 2018 Affirmed Young Professional Award from the Urban League Young Professionals of Greater Southern Ohio.

Warren is married to his wife, Chanelle, and credits his family and close circle of friends for continually inspiring him to leave every space better than he found it.

Dr. Taylor Darks is a proud FAMU alum, educator, and author whose work bridges academic research, policy, and creative storytelling. She earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Florida A&M University, and recently completed her Ph.D. in Sociology at Florida State University, where her research focused on race, class, and the local policy responses to historical injustice, particularly reparations.

Currently, Dr. Darks teaches sociology at her alma mater, FAMU, where she introduces students to foundational courses like Introduction to Sociology and Theory and Social Problems, while also creating space for critical conversations around her students' everyday lives and experiences.

In addition to her academic work, Dr. Darks is the author of several creative projects, including Be, Black Girl, Be, a lyrical children's book that celebrates identity, self-worth, and the radical act of simply being. Whether through teaching, research, or writing, she's committed to empowering Black communities, especially Black girls, to see themselves as worthy, powerful, and already enough.

Richard Chiles is a veteran journalist with more than a decade of covering the news in Cincinnati. His articles predominantly cover events, seasonal topics, evolving stories, and breaking news related to family & relationships, sports, and crime.

He has previously reported and anchored at stations in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington and Los Angeles.

Richard is a native Cincinnatian and a graduate of Walnut Hills High School and Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Dwylett Chambers Montgomery is the creator of The Great Adventures at Park Clinic, a pioneering animated series that takes the scary out of healthcare for kids. A lifelong spine pain survivor with four reconstructive surgeries, she transforms personal adversity into healing stories that educate and empower. A proud graduate of Southern University A&M and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Dwylett brings both heart and vision to children's media. With experience at Disney, Johnson & Johnson, and Procter & Gamble, she blends heartfelt storytelling with corporate insight to advocate for kids' healthcare literacy using relatable characters and stories.

  • On-Field Ceremony: All opted-in universities will have a representative or community advocate honored on field in a ceremony. We will also have a tribute to our Reds Alumni and RBI graduates who attended HBCUs.
  • Competition: 2 of the top 3 schools with the most tickets sold by July 31st will have the opportunity to select singer(s) to perform Lift Every Voice and Sing or throw a Ceremonial First Pitch
    • *selected singer(s) will have to pass an audition conducted by Reds entertainment personnel
