2025 Spring Training TV & radio broadcast schedule announced

FanDuel Sports Network to Televise 12 Games, KMOX to Broadcast 15 Contests; WIJR & Cardinals Spanish Radio Network to Carry First Weekend of Games

ST. LOUIS, Mo., February 13, 2025 – The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that fans will be able to catch all 31 of the club’s spring contests on either FanDuel Sports Network, KMOX 1120 AM/Cardinals Radio Network affiliates or streaming via the MLB app or cardinals.com. The Cardinals official Grapefruit League Spring Training schedule will consist of 30 games followed by an exhibition matchup against the Memphis Redbirds, club’s Triple-A affiliate, at AutoZone Park.

Television

FanDuel Sports Network will televise 12 Spring Training contests in 2025. The television home of the Cardinals kicks off its live game coverage on Sunday, February 23, when the Cardinals host the Houston Astros at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium at noon CT. Each of FanDuel Sports Network’s telecasts will also be streamed live on the FanDuel Sports Network app and FanDuelSportsNetwork.com. Fans can sign-in to the app with their TV provider login and password. Or, for the first time, fans in the local region can subscribe directly to FanDuel Sports Network to stream the Cardinals. Subscription details and pricing will be announced at a later date.

Chip Caray, Tom Ackerman and Alexa Datt will handle play-by-play duties while Brad Thompson and Mark Sweeney will serve as analysts. The team’s March 4th contest versus the New York Mets will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. Four additional Cardinals Spring games are scheduled to be televised by opposing teams and will be streamed on MLB.TV.

Radio

The team’s flagship radio station KMOX 1120 AM will broadcast 15 spring games with John Rooney, Ricky Horton and Mike Claiborne behind the microphone. The radio schedule begins with the club’s Grapefruit League opener at Miami on Saturday, February 22. Cardinals Spring Training games will also be carried on the 156 Cardinals Radio Network affiliate stations. Fans are encouraged to check their local listings for details. KMOX will also broadcast the Cardinals exhibition game against Memphis on Monday, March 24.

The Spring opener at Miami and the February 23 game versus Houston will also be broadcast by Cardinals Spanish Radio announcers Polo Ascencio and Bengie Molina on WIJR 880 AM and the 10 Cardinals Spanish Radio Network affiliate stations. An additional 12 contests will be streamed via cardinals.com and the MLB app featuring play-by-by and commentary from a combination of KMOX broadcasters Mike Claiborne, Tom Ackerman, and Matt Pauley.
