The D-backs will be without slugging left fielder Yasmany Tomas for at least a week, as they placed him on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with right groin tendinitis, retroactive to Saturday.

Tomas' injury allows the D-backs to recall starter Zack Godley from Triple-A Reno before his 10 days in the Minor Leagues are up, after they optioned him this past Thursday. Arizona also recalled outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker and optioned right-hander Braden Shipley to Reno.
