SATURDAY
7:05 p.m. ET: Columbus Clingstones (ATL) vs. Montgomery Biscuits (TB)
Two Top 100 prospects who entered the week with 47 homers and 96 stolen bases combined headline this Double-A matchup. Rays' 2024 first-rounder Theo Gillen (TB No. 2/MLB No. 12) supplied 21 of those jacks and 44 steals. Gillen's a 6-foot-2 outfielder who specializes in poking balls into the gap and taking extra bases. Eric Hartman (ATL No. 1/MLB No. 42) has accounted for the other 26 homers and 52 swipes. The 20-year-old is an elite 70-grade speedster with pull-side pop and a tendency to wreak havoc on the bases.
9:05 p.m. ET: Albuquerque Isotopes (COL) vs. Reno Aces (AZ)
Charlie Condon (COL No. 3/MLB No. 58) delivered one of the top performances of the season on Sunday, hammering two grand slams as part of a four-hit night for Triple-A Albuquerque. The 2024 No. 3 overall Draft pick -- known for his light-tower power -- matches up against Demetrio Crisantes (AZ No. 1/MLB No. 75) and Reno this week. Crisantes profiles as a contact-oriented batter who excels at spraying base hits all over the diamond. Since June 1, he ranks second among all D-backs prospects with 82 knocks.
SUNDAY
1 p.m. ET: Rocket City Trash Pandas (LAA) vs. Chattanooga Lookouts (CIN)
After missing time with a hamstring injury, Alfredo Duno (CIN No. 1/MLB No. 22) returned to the field on Aug. 26 and has been blazing hot since. Through nine games since his return, MLB’s No. 3 catching prospect has slashed .364/.432/.424 with three multihit performances. Duno will lead Double-A Chattanooga against Trade Deadline acquisition Arjun Nimmala (LAA No. 1/MLB No. 38) and Rocket City. Known for his power potential and strong arm, Nimmala can leave the yard at any moment and could develop 25-homer pop in the future.
