PepsiCo Juntos Crecemos is part of a $50 million commitment aimed to provide short and long-term support to Hispanic small businesses, specifically, restaurants, bodegas and carnicerías, over five years. Help includes grants, mentoring, tailored marketing support, access to capital and operational assistance to enable immediate and lasting improvements. The Arizona Diamondbacks teamed up with Pepsi to support locally owned and operated restaurants around Arizona and to learn about the history of the restaurant, the team behind the scenes and about what makes their food special. Local Hispanic restaurants were selected for a visit from D-backs players & alumni and were surprised with a cash donation, courtesy of PepsiCo. Additionally, each restaurant will open their doors to locals for a Free Lunch, courtesy of The Arizona Diamondbacks and Pepsi, to give both newcomers and regulars a chance to taste their unique offerings.
