Started the year at Double-A Richmond and made 10 starts for the Squirrels, going 0-0 with a 1.74 ERA. Roupp struck out 42 batters over 31.0 innings (12.2 K/9ip) and held opponents to a .206 average. Had his season cut short after landing in the 7-day IL on July 2 with back inflammation, an injury he sustained on the field during his June 30 start. Missed the remainder of the year in the IL. Roupp’s 1.74 ERA prior to hitting the IL on June 30 ranked as the fourth-lowest in all Double-A (min. 30.0ip).
2022
Started the year at Single-A San Jose and served mostly as a reliever, making 12 appearances out of the bullpen before starting his final two games there...Went 5-2 with a 2.59 ERA in 14 outings...Promoted to High-A Eugene, where he went 3-0 with a 1.67 ERA in seven starts, striking out 52 batters in just 32.1 innings (14.5 K/9 IP)...Overall, went 10-3 with a 2.60 ERA in 26 games (14 starts) between three levels.
