Pitched in the 2015 Little League World Series for Team Canada, striking out 16 in one game vs. Mexico. Giants radio and TV broadcaster Dave Flemming actually broadcasted that game for ESPN...Pitched for Team Canada in the 2026 World Baseball Classic...Nick named “Tugboat” by his father’s best friend, Phil McNeil. His dad’s friend saw him running at a slow tugboat speed around the bases. The name stuck.

Went 4-9 with a 4.24 (49 ER, 104 IP), 117 strikeouts and a 1.38 WHIP in 25 starts for High-A Lake County...Ranked inside the top five in the Cleveland organization in strikeouts (117, T-fifth), and games started (25, T-third)...His 117 strikeouts ranked 11th-most in High-A, and fifth-most among High-A lefties...Posted a 0.82 ERA (two ER, 22 IP) with 23 strikeouts and a 0.95 WHIP in four starts in August. 

2024

Split the season between Single-A Lynchburg and High-A Lake County. Overall, he went 8-6 with a 1.90 ERA (25 ER, 118.2 IP), 174 strikeouts and a 0.91 WHIP in 24 starts...Won April’s Carolina League Pitcher of the Month after going 2-0 with a 0.44 ERA (one ER, 20.2 IP), 41 strikeouts and a 0.58 WHIP in four April starts...Earned a Pitcher of the Week Award (week of April 28) after tossing 6.0 no-hit innings while striking out 15 on April 25 vs. Myrtle Beach...Named a Baseball America High-A All-Star, a Midwest League Postseason All-Star and to the MiLB Awards All-MiLB Prospect Second Team.

Selected in the 10th round (308th overall) out of Central Arizona Junior College...Totaled 35 games (17 starts) at Central Arizona JC, going 15-4 with a 1.38 ERA (21 ER, 137.0 IP), two saves, two complete games, 221 strikeouts and a 0.85 WHIP from 2021-23...Pitched a combined four summer league games for Chatham and Okotoks before being drafted, going 2-0 with 16 strikeouts over 14.0 shutout frames.
