Split the season between Triple-A Sacramento and SF...Started the year with the River Cats and went 1-1 with a 1.69 ERA (2 ER, 10.2 IP), 10 strikeouts and a .184 opposing average in 10 relief appearances with Sacramento...Was recalled on May 2 and made his Major League debut on May 4 at Philadelphia, throwing 2.1 innings of relief with four runs allowed (one earned) on two hits with two strikeouts...Allowed runs in each of his first three games at the Major League level, posting a 3.52 ERA (3 ER, 7.2 IP)...Went on to hold opponents scoreless in nine of his following 11 games, going 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA (4 ER, 13.0 IP) and a 1.08 WHIP...Earned his first career win on May 27 vs. Philadelphia after throwing two hitless, scoreless innings...Optioned to Triple-A on July 24 and was recalled four days later before making an appearance for the River Cats...Worked one scoreless inning on July 2 at Atlanta with his mother and father in attendance...It was the first time his parents had seen him pitch stateside and the first time they’d left the DR...They were unable to make it to his debut in time so they came to the series in Atlanta...Placed on the 15-day injured list on Aug. 15 with right elbow inflammation and missed 37 games...Was activated on Sept. 27 and pitched in two games to end the season, allowing three runs in 2.0 IP...Finished the year with 53 strikeouts in 52.1 innings of work (9.1 K/9.0)...Averaged 97.6 mph with his four-seam fastball...Recorded at least four outs in 17 of his 35 MLB outings...He had only pitched more than one IP in two of his 10 Triple-A appearances on the season...Stranded 14 of his 23 inherited runners (61%).

Opened the year at Double-A Richmond and had a terrific start to the year, going 2-1 with a 2.97 ERA in 16 games while striking out 40 hitters in 30.1 innings...Landed on the 7-day Injured List with a right forearm strain on June 9, an injury that was sustained on the field during his June 4 outing...Was transferred to a rehab assignment on June 16 and made two starts with the ACL Giants Orange...Reinstated on June 22 and assigned to Triple-A Sacramento, where he appeared in 27 games out of the bullpen and went 0-1 with a 5.73 ERA...Overall, went 2-2 with a 4.37 ERA in 45 MiLB games.
2022
Pitched at three different levels in 2022, reaching Triple-A Sacramento by mid-Aug...Opened the year at High-A Eugene and spent the first three months as a starter and posted a 3.86 ERA (19er, 44.1ip) in 13 starts with 57 strikeouts...Transitioned back to a reliever at Eugene in July and had three scoreless appearances before a promotion to Double-A Richmond...Appeared in only six games with the Flying Squirrels, striking out 19 batters in 10.0 innings with opposing hitters batting .184...Promoted to Triple-A Sacramento for his final five appearances of the season...Was placed on the 7-day IL on Sept.16 and did not pitch the rest of the season.
2021
Spent the entire 2021 season with Low-A San Jose, where he went 6-3 with two saves, a 1.74 ERA (12er, 62.0ip) and 101 strikeouts over 32 appearances…did not allow a home run all season... Received Low-A West Pitcher of the Month honors for his efforts in August after going 2-0 and pitching 15.2-scoreless innings over seven appearances… held batters to a combined nine hits (.164 opposing average) with 27 strikeouts (15.51SO/9) in the stretch... Named Low-A West Pitcher of the Week with San Jose twice last season, once on Aug. 22 and again on Sept. 12... Averaged 14.66 strikeouts-per-nine with San Jose (101K, 62.0ip), the seventh-highest figure in all MiLB (min 60ip)... His six wins with San Jose last year were tied with Brooks Crawford for third-most on the team, while his 1.74 ERA was best on the team (min 30ip).
