Mike Brockman named senior director of facilities

The Milwaukee Brewers have named Mike Brockman as the senior director of facilities for the organization. Brockman assumed his role on Wednesday, August 1. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President of Stadium Operations Steve Ethier.

The Milwaukee Brewers have named Mike Brockman as the senior director of facilities for the organization. Brockman assumed his role on Wednesday, August 1. The announcement was made by Senior Vice President of Stadium Operations Steve Ethier.
"Mike brings a wealth of experience to his new role and an effective skillset as a professional engineer," said Ethier. "We are excited to bring Mike on board and look forward to what he brings to our organization."
Brockman will directly oversee the Johnson Controls operations and maintenance team and retain his supervisory responsibility of the Miller Park operable roof and wall panels. He joins the Brewers after spending the past 17 years as a project manager with The Sigma Group, where he was assigned to the Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District. In that role he was responsible for supervising the Miller Park roof, as well as ensuring the achievement of industry maintenance and operations standards. Previously, Brockman worked as a subcontractor for Sigma during the design and construction of Miller Park. 
"As a lifelong Brewers fan, I am thrilled to be able to join the team," said Brockman. "Over the last 17 years, I have worked closely with members of the Brewers front office and developed wonderful relationships. I am excited to get to work and join a great organization that I am incredibly familiar with."
Brockman, a graduate of Marquette University, resides in Franklin, Wisconsin, with his wife Karen and daughters Cameron, Payton, Emma and Grace.
