The Major League season kicked off Wednesday night, but for fans of prospects, the real fun begins today as Triple-A action returns with a full slate of games around the International and Pacific Coast Leagues.
Over a quarter of MLB's Top 100 prospects are starting the season at the Triple-A level, including No. 1 Konnor Griffin (Pirates), No. 9 Colt Emerson (Mariners) and No. 10 Max Clark (Tigers).
An AL East rivalry got the 15-game schedule started as Yankees No. 22 prospect Brendan Beck struck out nine over five dominant innings for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in an 8-0 season-opening win over Buffalo (TOR), and Las Vegas (ATH) will play host to Salt Lake (LAA) in the final game of the night at 10:05 ET.
In between, you'll be able to catch a glimpse of the game's top prospects as Griffin leads Indianapolis (PIT) against Walker Jenkins (MLB No. 14) and St. Paul (MIN) at 6:35 p.m. ET. Tacoma's Emerson, Toledo's Clark and Columbus' Travis Bazzana (MLB No. 20) will also begin their campaigns.

The Minors then get to celebrate a second Opening Day for the remaining full-season levels (Double-A, High-A and Single-A) on Thursday, April 2.

A star-studded matchup that contains four Top 100 prospects will be headlined by MLB's No. 1 overall prospect Konnor Griffin (PIT No. 1). Coming off a big league camp in which the 19-year-old wunderkind clubbed four jacks in 16 Grapefruit League games, he will anchor the Indianapolis offense against St. Paul, which features three of the Twins' top four prospects -- Walker Jenkins (MIN No. 1/MLB No. 14), Kaelen Culpepper (MIN No. 2/MLB No. 52) and Emmanuel Rodriguez (MIN No. 4/MLB No. 74).
