The Nationals are heading to West Palm Beach, Fla., to prepare for the 2026 season. Here is your guide to everything you need to know about Grapefruit League action.

When is the first workout for pitchers and catchers?
The first workout for pitchers and catchers will be held on Wednesday.

What is the date of the first full-squad workout?
The first full-squad workout will take place on Monday, Feb. 16.

Where is the team’s facility?
The Nationals’ facility is located at the CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches, which they share with the Astros. The address of the complex is 5444 Haverhill Road in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Can fans attend workouts?
Yes, workouts are open for fans to attend at the Nationals’ training complex.

Who are some new faces fans should know?
The Nationals signed southpaw Foster Griffin to a one-year contract, acquired catcher Harry Ford (No. 71 overall prospect, per MLB Pipeline) in a trade with the Mariners and selected right-hander Griff McGarry in the Rule 5 Draft.

Who are some of the top prospects invited to Major League camp?
The Nationals have extended non-roster invitations to right-handers Travis Sykora (No. 54 overall prospect) and Jarlin Susana (No. 80 overall prospect); catcher Caleb Lomavita (Nats' No. 15); infielders Seaver King (No. 10) and Yohandy Morales (No. 26); and outfielder Andrew Pinckney (No. 30).

When is the team’s first Grapefruit League game?
The Nationals will open Spring Training with two Grapefruit League games on Saturday, Feb. 21. They are slated for split-squad matchups vs. the Astros at home and against the Cardinals at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Fla. Both games are scheduled for 1:05 p.m. ET.

What are a few other notable spring games?
The Nationals will host Team Venezuela in a World Baseball Classic exhibition game on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:05 p.m. ET. Venezuela's roster is set to feature Major League players including catcher Salvador Perez, infielder Maikel Garcia and outfielders Wilyer Abreu, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Jackson Chourio.

For Nationals fans on the west coast of Florida, the Nats will travel to play the Yankees at George Steinbrenner Field (Tampa, Fla.) at 6:35 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Feb. 25, and the Phillies at BayCare Ballpark (Clearwater, Fla.) on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1:05 p.m. ET.

What is Spring Breakout and when is the game?
The Spring Breakout is an annual showcase of top prospects around baseball. This year, the Nationals will take on the Cardinals’ farm system at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, March 19.

The Nationals and Orioles will play back-to-back exhibition games after they return from Florida. The game on Sunday, March 22, will take place at Oriole Park at Camden Yards at 1:35 p.m. ET, and the game on Monday, March 23, will be held at 1:05 p.m. ET at Nationals Park.

What are the details for Opening Day?
The Nationals will open the 2026 season on Thursday, March 26, at Wrigley Field. The matinee against the Cubs is scheduled for 2:20 p.m. ET. The Nats play their first six games on the road in Chicago and Philadelphia, before hosting their home opener on Friday, April 3, against the Dodgers.
