Using baseball to teach in fun and innovative ways, the Phillies have developed programs and partnered with various organizations to provide teachers, students and parents exciting ways to enhance the learning experience, as well as established education-themed group nights at the ballpark.

The Phanatic About Reading program presented by Xfinity, encourages students in grades Pre-K through 8 to read for a minimum of 15 minutes a day to improve literacy skills. Top performing classrooms could receive a special experience with the Phanatic.
The most significant moment in Major League Baseball history took place on April 15, 1947 when Jackie Robinson made his Major League debut and forever broke the baseball color barrier. It is a moment that still resonates throughout baseball today, as every player, coach and fan continues to honor the legacy of the man who made advancements possible for many within the game.
America at Bat: The Color of Baseball is an educational piece that asks those utilizing the curriculum to examine, critically think about and understand the history of the Negro Leagues. The curriculum allows for an understanding of what was taking place in the United States, and at times, internationally, while the Negro Leagues were in existence.
The Phillies recognized educators in the region who are making a difference during the 24th annual Teacher Appreciation Night powered by Constellation on May 3. Each year, the Phillies select 10 area teachers, nominated by current and former students, parents and peers, to recognize as All-Star Teachers.
The All-Star Students program sponsored by LF Driscoll recognizes 10 All-Star Students each year in grades PreK-12 based on nominations from their teachers. These students are going above and beyond both inside and outside of their classroom.
A partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Phillies Phundamentals, sponsored by Chick-fil-A Greater Philadelphia, is a summer camp program for children 6-12 years old that uses baseball to teach and reinforce academic skills.
The Center City skyline received a major league makeover in August, 2015. The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and the Phillies joined forces on a Center City mural celebrating the history of the Philadelphia Phillies - the oldest, continuous, one-name, one-city franchise in all of professional sports.
