Graduated from North St. Paul (MN) High School, where he also played basketball as a freshman and sophomore... Graduated from Concordia University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics after pitching there from 2016-18... Is looking to become the 12th player selected by the Brewers in the Rule 5 Draft to play for the team the next season.....the last to do it was INF Colin Walsh, who was selected in 2015 and played for the team in 2016... His younger brother, Louie, is a pitcher in the Twins organization.....he made his Major League debut last season... His great-uncle, Carroll Hardy, played in the majors as an outfielder with Cleveland (1958-60), Boston (1960-62), Houston (1963-64) and Minnesota (1967)... he also played a year in the NFL as a running back with the San Francisco 49ers (1955)... Enjoys fishing, hunting and video games.

Went 4-4 with a 6.11 ERA and two saves in 41 games (seven starts) at Double-A Tulsa... produced 85 strikeouts in 70.2 innings... His first seven outings came as a starter, going 0-3 with an 8.54 ERA (26.1ip, 25er)... his last 34 appearances came in relief, going 4-1 with a 4.67 ERA (44.1ip, 23er)... Following the season was selected by Milwaukee in the Rule 5 Draft.

2020

Did not participate in the 2020 season after the minor league season was cancelled.
