Made three appearances in his return from June 2024 Tommy John Surgery... Appeared in six games for Salt River in the Arizona Fall League...Struck out 19 batters in 11.1 innings while going 0-2 with a 10.32 ERA.

2024

Began the season with Greenville...Allowed five ER on 10 hits over 5.0 IP in his first two starts, before posting a 2.11 ERA with 39 SO and 8 BB in his remaining five starts for the Drive (21.1 IP, 5 ER, 18 H). In his final outing with Greenville on 5/21 at Greensboro, allowed only one hit in five scoreless innings while matching a career high with 12 SO. Was promoted to Portland on 5/26 and made two starts with the club...On 6/2 at Altoona, allowed 0 ER in 5.0 IP (2 H, 1 BB , 7 SO). Went from unranked to No. 57 in Baseball America’s Top 100 Prospects update on 6/5 (see box above). Removed from his start on 6/8 vs. Akron after 2.1 IP due to a right arm injury. Placed on the 7-Day Injured List on 6/9. On 6/27, underwent Tommy John surgery, performed by Dr. Jeffrey Dugas at the Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedics Center in Birmingham, Ala.
