RHP Spencer Strider
Injury: Left oblique strain
IL Date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: Mid-April
Status: Strider will accompany the Braves on their road trip to throw bullpen sessions and possibly a live BP. The team hasn't decided whether he will need a rehab start before being activated. (Last updated: March 30) More >>
C Sean Murphy
Injury: Right hip labral tear
IL Date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: Second half of April
Status: Murphy will go to High-A Rome on April 1 to take live batting practice and possibly begin his rehab assignment. He will likely need a couple weeks to build his endurance. One of the last steps will be to catch nine innings on consecutive days. (Last updated: March 30)
SS Ha-Seong Kim
Injury: Torn tendon in right middle finger
IL Date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: First half of May
Status: Still hasn't faced live pitching, but the Braves are hoping he could begin a rehab assignment within the next couple weeks. (Last updated: March 28) More >>

Injury: Tommy John surgery (May 2025)
IL Date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: Summer 2026
Status: Could be available at some point after the All-Star break. (Last updated: March 25)
RHP Hurston Waldrep
Injury: Right elbow inflammation
IL Date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: Summer 2026
Status: Underwent arthroscopic surgery on Feb. 23 to have loose bodies removed from his right elbow. Could return in June or July, but the team isn’t putting a timetable on it. (Last updated: March 25)
RHP AJ Smith-Shawver
Injury: Tommy John surgery (June 2025)
IL Date: March 25 (retroactive to March 22)
Expected return: 2026 or 2027 season
Status: Underwent surgery on his right elbow on June 9. (Last updated: March 25)
LHP Joey Wentz
Injury: Torn right ACL
IL date: March 24 (60-day IL)
Expected return: 2027
Status: Will miss the 2026 season after tearing his right ACL during a collision at first base during a Grapefruit League game on March 8. (Last updated: March 24)
RHP Spencer Schwellenbach
Injury: Right elbow inflammation

Expected return: Summer 2026

Expected return: 2026
