Huang, Brito represent D-backs in Futures Game

DENVER -- The D-backs had a pair of players selected to participate in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, which will take place July 12 as part of the All-Star Game activities at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.

Right-handed pitcher Wei-Chieh Huang and outfielder Socrates Brito will play for the World Team against the U.S. Team.

D-backs Minor League field coordinator Tony Perezchica will serve as a coach for the World Team.

Huang, who was signed by the D-backs last summer out of Taiwan, is 3-0 with a 0.85 ERA in five starts for Class A Kane County this season.

Brito, who impressed the D-backs' Major League staff this year during Spring Training, has a .255/.281/.367 slash line for Double-A Mobile. The 22-year-old is ranked as the D-backs' 15th-best prospect, according to MLBPipeline.com.
