Concurrent event at Chase Center on April 6

On Sunday, April 6, extensive road closures will be in place around and south of Chase Center between 5 - 10:45 a.m for the Golden State 5k (est. 2,000 runners). For your trip to Oracle Park, you may want to consider public transit or reserving parking in advance via SpotHero.

5 a.m. - Road closures go into effect
9 a.m. - Race begins
10:45 a.m. - Roads re-open

Road Closures
  • Terry A. Francois Blvd between 16th St & Warriors Way, NB & SB lanes (5-10:45 a.m.)
  • Terry A. Francois Blvd between 16th St & Mariposa St, NB & SB lanes (8:30-10:45 a.m.)
  • Terry A. Francois Blvd between Warriors Way & Mission Rock St, NB & SB lanes (8:30-10:45 a.m.)
  • Illinois St between Mariposa St & 18th St, NB & SB lanes (8:30-10:45 a.m.)

Officers from SFPD and SFMTA will manage course crossings at major intersections.

Race Route

The race will START at 9 a.m. on Terry A. Francois Blvd between 16th St and Warriors Way and proceed northbound on Terry A. Francois Blvd. Runners make a u-turn at the turnaround point, before Mission Rock St. intersection, and return southbound on Terry A. Francois Blvd Bay Trail to run through Bayfront Park, continuing to Crane Cove Park. Runners will return north from Crane Cove Park on Illinois St. Runners will loop this course again, to FINISH at Chase Center on Terry A Francois Blvd.

Oracle Park is accessible by train, ferry, bus, bike, ridehail and foot. These transit options are especially encouraged during concurrent events in the neighborhood of Oracle Park. If you plan to drive, reserve parking in advance via SpotHero.
